VNG ELECTRIC came and saved the day. I had a major electrical issue at my elderly mother house. I live in a totally different state. My mother called me in the middle of the night and told me her AC stopped working. My mother being old can not live without AC. I reached out a few electrical companies and no one answered or told me that they would be there in the morning. I called VNG ELECTRIC and explained my situation. Joe from VNG ELECTRIC, came out in the middle of the night and fix what needed to be fixed. He even stopped by and checked in on my mother for the next few days to make sure everything was working. I couldn't begin to thank him especially for checking in on my mother. My go-to company from this moment on. Unbelievably respectful and a complete gentleman.

I don't write a lot of reviews. When I do, it's either because my experience was terrible to the point that I feel obligated to warn others from being exposed to a ""bad actor"" or because the experience with a service provider ""blew my mind"".

This is meant to be a great review because I have nothing but positive things to say about my multiple experiences with Joe at VNG Electric. He is professional, timely, dependable, affordable, and honest.

I met Joe while I was going through a major renovation of my backyard. The project involved a new pool deck, a new pool, and electric shades for the covered lanai. Every aspect of the experience with vendor of the electric shades was horrific. Simple things like hiding the 100s of feet of electrical cords was said to be ""impossible"". Their site manager's sole intention was to do everything as quickly as he could and with the least amount of work; regardless of the impact to me, the homeowner.

Finally, I found Joe and he joined us for some of the planning & design sessions. What a change! All of a sudden, literally everything I wanted to do was possible. (As I would find out later, the other contractor was angry, pulled Joe aside, and remarked ""you never give the customer options!"").

Well, thankfully, Joe was all about options! He listened to me and my desires for the backyard and he offered solutions. He knows his trade and he is meticulous. Finding him and adding him to my Contacts and speed-dial was like hitting the lottery. In addition to helping with the electrical for the shades, he was able to run a significant number of outlets throughout the backyard and around the outside of the house so that I no longer need to re-charge the batteries in my Arlo cameras. They remain on electric 24/7. May not sound like a big deal, but it really is.

Joe is a class act. He's from New York, too. I guess I only add that because he strikes me as that stereotypical New Yorker from the movies whose philosophy is ""forget about it"" - meaning ""nothing's a problem; I've got your back"".

If you made it this far through my review, I'll leave you with one last thought: if you engage with him, I can just about guarantee that Joe will be the last electrician for which you ever look. On the downside, he'll likely be harder for me to engage on future work because he will be swamped, but I'll just have to be happy for him and his continued success. He deserves it!

I have had Joe do several jobs for me and both were great! First we added a pool heater. We had a few problems with inspection that we were unaware of but, Joe corrected them and it was a beautiful job! He didn't just leave and say good luck your on your own, he meet with the inspector and went over everything. Most guys would have left! Second job was for electric for our Tesla. Joe not only did a great job, but selected a better place to put it that was out of the way and worked both pulled in or backed in. I highly recommend Joe and his crew. And I am sure I will find something in the future for him to work on.
