I've worked with VE several times. These guys are very friendly and get the job done. However, I do have one complaint about the most recent experience with them: they opened a big hole in my wall only to realize that the power source they wanted to use is not good. With my recommendation they picked a different source and opened a second hole in my wall. Because they don't fix walls and the fixed wall doesn't look as good as the original, I wish they were more experienced and would have checked the power source before opening a hole in my wall.

Quick response and I appreciate accommodating my schedule. Installed a tesla wall charger. The job was done quick and professionally. Thank you

My brother-in-law got an EV charging station installed for his home for $600, including the permit. So I emailed them and asked if I could get the installation done too. Same set up, same neighborhood.
Electrician comes to the appointment and installs the charging station directly behind the electrical box. This is the most inexpensive method. The farther from the box, the more they charge. The large rectangular area that the electrician cut out of the dry wall was patched up with caulking. This was annoying, but I let it slide. The technician says $500 is good. I assumed since it was such an easy job and such a trashy job replacing the drywall, that is why he took the $100 off.
And behold, I called later about the permit, and they said that it wasn't included since I didn't mention it in my email. Fine, even if I didn't mention the permit, they knew they were ripping me off. So why charge $500? He said because the farther from the electrical box, the higher the price. But the box is directly, I mean directly behind it, so it should have been $300-$350 maximum. Same as they did for my brother in law about 1 month prior to, if not less time than that.
I called and complained, asking for a refund or having them place the permit. They refused both. They overcharged by $150-200. I will also place complaints to BBB and SMUD tomorrow.
Do not do business with them. They do terrible work (used caulking to place back cut out drywall), and they will rip you off any chance they get.
Not to be trusted. And even if you call them out, they will refuse. If I don't get my refund, I will complain to the bank too. I used Zelle to pay. They should have done the permit but didn't, so it's fraud. Good luck to you, Band of thieves electric company.

Called and talked to James and was supposed to have my EV charger installed today between 8-9 am . I called James after 9 am asking what time they are coming out , he said he will check it with his electrician. It's 1026 am and still no electrician coming . Tried to call James and he said he was driving but I called him before and it was a voicemail. I texted him to cancel . He apologized for the inconvenience but that would not change that they are unreliable .

I needed a 240V EV outlet installed to charge my car. The technician came the next and completed the job quickly. He did a great job and would book with them again for any electrical service.

I've used these guys 5-6 times for various rental properties and also on my own home. They are always quick and on time. They are very cost-efficient and honest people. I will continue to recommend and use them!

I needed to have six outlets grounded received a price. The technician was late and did not speak English had to call the dispatcher to translate. They told me they could ground the outlets by replacing the fuses with two Gfci fuses. And was told the price was $500.00. The technician replaced the fuses but that did not ground but the dispatcher insisted it was up to code and the price went to $600.00. I feel like I was lied to and scammed.
I would not recommend them to anybody.

It hard to really judge. On one hand the job was finally done, but getting there was more difficult than it should have been. The job was to put in the power for a spa. Vitality needed to come up from the box, crawl through the length the house in the attic and then drop a line out the other side on the opposite side of the house. Doing a price check they were on par with other price estimates. Their technician came over and spoke very little english. We at times needed to communicate through Google translate. He put the drop out of the house in the wrong place as codes dictate the sub breaker must be at least 5 ft of space form the spa. During this initial trip he also broke the stucco next to the main. He attempted to fill it with a huge smear of silicone. He had to come back and move the drop, leaving another hole there as well. I called and complained. They eventually, after 3 weeks, sent out a guy to fix the stucco. I probably should have gone with Bonney.

All I can say is prompt, polite and professional. On time arrival. Price that was quoted was the price they charged. Vlad did a great job installing my gfci plug and everything worked out as planned,. I highly recommend Vitality Electric.

I needed a 240v NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in garage to support charging my EV. Contacted Vitality and was set up with an appointment right away. My technician, Victor provided timely and quality service with great value!
