Viramontes Electric Co rewired my daughters house including upgrading the main panel. The were very professional and did a more than satisfactory job on time and at a reasonable price. They refinished anything structural that had to be done to access for the new wiring. I was very pleased with the whole transaction.

I called Raul Viramontes to diagnose a flickering light issue in my home. He informed me that his fee is $150. We made an appt and he showed up on time. I explained what's happening and what lights were being affected. I showed him my panels and he and his co worker got started. 30 min later. He tells me that he recommends I upgrade my entire electrical panel. He didn't check anything in my house. He did not give me any other options besides upgrading my panel. I immediately new this guy was not being honest. An honest professional would have made an effort to trouble shoot more and present options. He then presented me his quote for upgrading the panel. Crazy expensive! I asked him, would the $150 be applied towards the quote. He said no. At that moment I was just done with this guy. No way was he gonna get my business. I reluctantly gave him his $150, I just wanted him out of my house. I immediately called 3 local electricians and their panel upgrade quote was 40% lower than Raul. I got my issue fixed by a very honest hard working electrician who took his time trouble shooting and didn't take advantage of me . At the end I didn't need an upgraded panel. This is a 100% honest review of my experience with Raul. I hope others think twice before hiring this guy and don't get ripped off. I do not recommend him!

We called Raul for an estimate after reading his exceptional reviews on Yelp (after we had already paid for an estimate from Powell Electric). Raul came out the same day of our call and gave a very competitive estimate (lower than Powell). Raul recommended some additional work for one of our kitchen outlets that was running high usage appliances. We really appreciated Raul's concern and advice because we did not know that we had a safety problem. They completed our job in one day, even with additional work. This is a family owned business and, now that we have experienced their work, we will never use another electrician. We have already referred others to Viramontes.

Chris and Jake did an amazing job installing my recessed lighting in my living room. Their prices are great and they are very professional. They covered all my furniture before installation and then left the area cleaner than when they came. When some drywall needed to be fixed they didn't even hesitate to fix it.
