Violet Ray provided all electrical installation services for my 2700 sq ft construction project in a thorough and professional manner. The electrical installation was on schedule and they were patient as I needed some changes along the way. Additionally, no one would have predicted that PGE would have taken over a year to complete their work and Violet Ray (Billy and John) supported my project each time PGE scheduled and delayed. Billy ended up having to contact PGE to verify the work and schedule. The final work would not have been completed without Billy and John's support and patience.

I was going through a remodel where the electrical work had been done by some questionable characters. Long story short, we were post sheetrock with an overloaded, unsafe panel, blowing breakers, and random breakout boxes. It was a very difficult situation to step into.

Thanks to Billy, Brandon, Zachary, and John, I now have a fully-functional home electrical system. It took a week of untangling very questionable wiring just to figure out the existing wiring. Then, room by room, Brandon and crew made sure that each run was up to code. They identified and corrected some real safety hazards such as insufficient grounding. It was too late to install a Ufer as the foundation footings had already been poured. It was a little shocking to see all the holes that had to be put all that new sheetrock. In the end it was worth it and the holes were all patched up. In the process, we electrified our appliances, heating/cooling system, added a sub-panel and an EV charger. I am very happy with how everything turned out.

He showed up on time with an apprentice in tow. Both of these guys were very polite and very professional. He took the time to make sure he had the right solutions for me and explained things very well. He did a great job and charged me an amount that I feel was very fair. If I need more electrical work, I'll hire him again. If he is busy, I'll probably just wait until he isn't because it isn't easy to find great people to do work in your home.

Billy installed 4 recessed lights in a bed room. The project was in an older house with Sheetrock + plaster ceilings and knob and tube wiring. I worked along side Billy removing plywood in the attic which was covering the work area. Billy helped with the plywood removal and even let me use his tools to speed up the job.

He communicated well and explained the different switch options. It's clear that he has many years of experience and knows what he's doing. He arrived on time and cleaned the area after the project was completed. I'm happy with the end result and will call him again for the next project.
