Recommended Customer Reviews

I don't typically write reviews, at all, but I was disappointed with the overall service. James, the president, was fast and friendly and arrived quickly when contacted. We told James where we wanted two outlets installed and I walked with him to locate the access to our attic. All seemed good, and he set an appointment for 7:30AM, Tuesday morning. Perfect! Tuesday morning rolls around. 7:30AM, no one shows. Odd, running late, I suppose. 7:40AM I call our front gate to make sure they weren't held up by security. No one has arrived. 7:45AM, I call their main number and James picks up and tells me his employees are running late at probably at the gate. Okay. Little past 8AM, rolls around and finally a truck pulls up and they tell me they were at the wrong address. Really? What, no GPS? James had no problems finding the house the first time and was here within minutes. Okay, that's fine and all, but you didn't bother to call and tell us, I was already looking at other electricians thinking you skipped out. Next, his employees then ask me what we went over with James (as if they had no idea what they were doing). James was thorough and we already discussed what we wanted so I have no idea why I'm re-explaining this to his employees AGAIN. We already found the attic earlier so I go to work in my room. Then one of them asks if there is attic access in the casita?! I said AGAIN we already discussed this, the only attic access is in the master bedroom. Either their employees have no idea what's going on or James told them nothing about the job. Then we had them check an outlet not getting power for a fountain before they left. It was a dead pump, which was fine, but they shut off power to the casita with zero warning while I was at work (I WFM due to the pandemic). So now I have to get back to work waiting for them to turn the power back on, AND THEY LEFT. I had no idea what the f**k they turned off so I had to manually go through and find the electrical panels and find out which one they turned off and restore power myself. They didn't bother to double check their work before leaving or apologize for being late.
The outlets they installed seem fine and work, which is the only reason this isn't a 1-star review. WE WILL NOT BE USING THEM IN THE FUTURE.

We are in the process of buying a home and wanted an electrician to take a look at the property since a few things came up in the inspection report. This was an extremely time sensitive request as we were in escrow.
Not only did the owner, James, give us a call past his working hours but he patiently went over each detail of the inspection report over the phone. He reassured us everything checked out. My parter and I were very impressed by how knowledgable he was and offered to pay for his time. He politely declined. That level of customer service exceeded my expectations and we will be reaching out to Vintage Electric in the future should the need arise. Thank you so much!

A few years back we had Vintage replace rope lighting with LED and add a ceiling can to one of the bathrooms in our LaQuinta home. At the time we thought we were WAY overcharged for the work done. Recently the bulb in that ceiling can burned out. Opening up the can to replace it we found that an oddball type of bulb was jammed into a trim that is the wrong type for the fixture. We are having to buy a new trim in order to accommodate the correct size and type of bulb. So much for quality workmanship.

Vintage Electric was fantastic!!! Jesus came promptly and did a really great job, and was so pleasant and wonderful about it. It was what could have been a complicated job and he handled it perfectly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Vintage Electric is the best electrician I've ever hired. I worked with 3 other electricians on projects over the past 10 years and FINALLY found a reliable, trustworthy, and cost-effective company for my electric needs. I always appreciate their super friendly customer service and reliability as well. I highly recommend Vintage Electric.

Over the years Vintage Electric has installed several ceiling fans, indoor and outdoor lights and fixed several electrical problems our home has had. We have always been very impressed by the quality and proficiency of their work. We would highly recommend Vintage Electric!

Vintage Electric is an outstanding business. The work done in our home was amazing, we couldn't be happier. Thank you so much.

left me hanging---did not show for appointment--if you want to waste your time call Vintage!! But then wonder of wonders they called and apologized and offered to remove the labor charge and come tomorrow. that's customer service!!!

Why is it so hard to find a reliable electrician in south Cali?? Thank god I Mr Tourje was recommended by my friend . I had an emergency in one of my rental properties and wasn't able to locate an electrician that was willing to to a small job . Living on the east coast it was very difficult to find someone reliable . James from Vintage electric was great , he went extra mile to make sure that job was done right . I will never try to call anybody else for electric issues in my properties , highly recommend!!

Wow. The WORST customer service EVER.
We recently had a house built and Vintage was the electrical contractor. When the house was done, there were several leftover issues. Ok, I understand that. Smoke detector wasn't grounded properly and constantly beeped, sconce on the outside not grounded so it wasn't working, the doorbell wasn't working, the fans had the wrong type of switch so the light was inoperable and a weird short that killed the cable tv when any light switch was flipped.
Sure, I can accept all that.
However, they didn't fix any of it when informed about it. After the initial couple of phone calls, they stopped returning mine, the head contractor's and the builder's calls. This is warranty work they need to do and are basically ignoring it.
We have cumulatively sent nearly 30 emails and dozens of calls with silence in return.
The builder has been great and had to get another electrician to fix these issues. I'm sure it'll come down to the builder taking Vintage to court to recoup that cost
I'd avoid them at all cost, because it WILL cost YOU.
