We researched solar for our home for over 6 months. After getting numerous bids and talking with different contractors we chose Vince Sigal Electric, and we are extremely happy that we did. From the bid process to final inspection they handled everything with professionalism and ease. They didn't try to over sell us on something we didn't need but rather analyzed our PGE bills and tailored a system to our usage history. I would recommend VSE to anyone in the market for solar or electrical services!

NONE BETTER. Vince and crew helped people and entire cities during several of the major fires over the years, usually DONATING resources and time. I've been using Vince for my electrical needs for my home and businesses for as long as I've ever needed an electrician. You know he's the best when PG&E call his group to fix their issues. He does everything from new plugs and solar, to keeping entire towns running on his separate power grid while PG&E or Southern Edison fix whatever problem they have. They all know their stuff there and they're as trustworthy and earnest as any company in business.

I manage a large industrial complex with many custom crush tenants. During the crush, our private hi voltage power grid kept failing, leaving tenants without power. The tenants were really unhappy and it looked like they were going to loose a ton of business.

In a panic, we called Vince Sigal Electric at 10:00 PM on a Saturday night. Vince was onsite by 10:30 PM, and his crew was there shortly after. They found the issue and got us up and running on generator power by 11:30 PM. They came back the next day (Sunday) and replaced a malfunctioning transformer.

Since then we have had them perform annual maintenance on our private electrical grid and we haven't had any problems.

These people are life savers!

Chris Baum was unprofessional and made a mess of our business, had to hire someone else to fix the mess he made. I expect someone to fix the mess for the price we paid. Buyer beware of this company!

Vince Sigal Electric has a competent and caring staff; real people to talk to, not answering machines. I will be soon be replacing a light fixture, and it's a good feeling to know who you can call and trust to do a good job. I've watched this company grow (because I'm a ""neighbor"" and always seem to be driving by their front door) and have seen it prosper. Companies prosper for a reason; because they are well run and well staffed. Cudos, Mr. Sigal. Excellent job.

Vince Sigal Electric (Jason) did a great job in regards to explaining and executing our solar system installation. What was great they had all the city permits and PG&E authorizations ready to go.. No long waits and everything was up and running just like they said... I would highly recommend Vince Sigal Electric for your solar needs....

Out of 6 quotes from 6 different Solar companies, I chose The Solar World Panels installed by Vince Sigal Electric. Jason was awesome. He took the time to answer every question I had and help educate me on Solar Energy and PG&E.

The installation, including City Permits and NetMetering by PG&E, completed in a week. Actual installation was 2 days.

Installation Team was also awesome. They were very professional and clean!

We love our solar. The bid was competitive and there were no additional (unexpected) charges. Jason answered all our questions promptly. He and his crew were knowledgeable and a pleasure to have around. They were prompt and curteous. They dealt with one unexpected glitch with good humor and efficiency. We also appreciated the help in filling out all the documents with PG & E. We highly recommend them. If we could give them six stars we would.

We were installing solar panels in an old country home, and Phil was subcontracted by the solar company to replace our main breaker box. He is a professional electrician and has a lot of experience. We presented him with a rather difficult situation and Phil took the challenge head on and did a great job. When we ran into unexpected complications, he explained all our options and helped us figure out what the best course of action was in our situation. It was a pleasure working with him.

We will call him again next time we need some electrical work done.

The one word that I can say for this company is integrity. We had a bunch of random issues at our new house, and Alan came by and knocked them all out of the park. A few days later, one of the lights that Alan repaired stopped working -- he came right out and we discovered there was a roof leak into the fixture (from the previous owner of the home).

When the bill came, there were a few questions and misunderstandings, which was a little frustrating. After a few e-mails back and forth with one of their accountants -- she just stopped replying. I liked the work that they did, and wanted to make sure we were in good standing, so I finally called them back and spoke to someone else. He understood the problems, the background for the bill discrepancy, and they ultimately were flexible and willing to listen and work with me. In the end, they agreed to waive the return trip where we discovered the ceiling leak when they really didn't have to. Saved me $85 and I felt like they were looking out for me (who knows how much the roof repair was going to be).

I'd call them out again in a heartbeat to help us with any future problems.
