Recommended Customer Reviews
They had the audacity to try to quote me $86,000 for two mini split systems on a home that's 1750 sq ft in the middle of third ward. It was a complete laughingstock. No wonder their reviews are crap! They stood me up the first appointment and then begged for me to give them a shot. SMH, I definitely got my time wasted by an extremely long winded sales rep who claimed he'd ""take care of me""
The Quinn the Plumer showed up at the time he said he would. He very polite and professional. With in a few minutes he knew exactly what the problem was and had it fixed on about 20 minutes. He made sure not to make a mess. Over I this was a very good experience. I definitely will call and ask for this plumber again. If you have a plumbing issue call Village plumbing.
This company hires salesman vs technicians . They are great with scheduling but beware of high quotes. Sales speech includes licensed techs, warranty, etc. I let tech know price quote is high and I'll decline service. He calls his ""VP"" and negotiates the price down . We come to agreement . I ask to see warranty document and nothing can be provided. They were editing a document to include warranty after discussion.
Sketchy business stay away .
Levy is AMAZING!!! He went into my attic when my insurance adjuster wouldn't even go up there after Beryl. Thanks to him, I found that my heat pipe was broken and carbon dioxide was escaping. Thanks, Levy!
Had a water leak which I couldn't find. Hired this company and they said $750 to find the leak. It was from the water heater in the attic which took them 5 mins to find. They wanted $4,250 to replace a 90 gallon heater, which I learned later I only needed a 50 gallon. I asked if I get credit for the $750 I just spent for 5 mins work and they said no. So $5,000 to replace a hot water heater. And not tankless. I got it done from another reputable firm for $2,200. So that's my experience with Village Plumbing.
Seher B.Village plumbing came to our rescue to attend to a minor plumbing emergency while we were out of the country. They replied in a very quick fashion. Sent a plumber the very next day who understood the situation. He capped off the valve and even offered to come back after the reconstruction phase to reconnect the sink's plumbing. Price was definitely more reasonable than majority of all the other quotes we received. Would highly recommend village plumbing.
The tech that did my work was friendly, professional and helpful, but at the end of the day, the initial quote they provided me was outrageous. Almost $1900 to install two toilets I was supplying is robbery. When I questioned this rate, the tech was able to call someone and get the price down to $1220, which is still high in my opinion for two toilet installations that took less than 2 hours. As a comparison, Home Depot charges $185-$400 for toilet installs depending on the complexity and requirements. Again, the tech was great, this review is not bad because of him. This review is negative because of the initial insane price and the reduced still bonkers price to install two toilets.
Radha C.Any time I have called, Village Plumbing is available to assist. We had Travis Metler arrive as out technician. He was polite, funny, and considerate. He told my dad that he had calcium deposits in the drain that was causing a clogging issue. He went to work swiftly after arriving on time. He completed the work, gave my dad a discount ( senior citizen) and that was it. These guys are awesome!
Called them out to checkout my French drain. After a simple camera, they told me a jet setter treatment was needed to flush out the pipe. Been here before and it's exactly what I expected. Then they quote me $1300!!! For JUST jetting it. Absolutely bonkers. If you're totally green on all this stuff and call out VP they will hose you!! I called Halo Plumbing and got the jetting for $350. Buyer Beware!
I had Village replace my gas line. They were very expensive ($20,000) but, shame on me, I took it when they told me how careful they would be digging the trench. This was not true. They broke multiple sprinkler lines and accent lighting wires. After they said don't worry we'll fix them, they blocked my phone line from calling.
Be warned!
