I reached out to have a doorbell installed in my 30+ year home that for whatever reason never had a doorbell. Veteran came out and viewed the property to get me a quote and about a week later I had Doc working on it. Not only was the job done right, quickly, and on time, but Doc ended up completing the project under budget. I feel like I got a deal that was more than fair. Their communication and scheduling was quick and easy. No complaints. I would definitely reach out again for any other electrical needs.

While using the yelp project feature, I was searching for an electrician to help me with a faulty circuit breaker that keeps tripping in the panel of my house. Veteran Electric reached out, and it was a rocky start to say the least. When they called, I inquired if they had any availability the same week that I called. Unfortunately they had no openings; no worries... kind of expected it. So then I booked for the following week from 2pm - 4pm because that was the earliest that I could accommodate for them. We were set.
A few days before the appointment, I got a call from the scheduler, asking if I could move up my appointment earlier to 12 - 2pm. I told them that I couldn't because I would still be at work and that 2-4pm is when I could be home. The scheduler had an awkward silence over the phone and said, ""... okay... ... we'll keep your scheduled time then"".
The big day came and it was the day before the freeze here in New Braunfels. I got home right at 2pm waiting for a confirmation text... Nothing... no big deal its only 2pm. 1 hour later (now 3pm), I received a text from the electrician, saying that he was running at least 1 hour late because of their last job running over. Although I do appreciate the text, this was outside of the 2 hour window as scheduled. The electrcian was very professional and communicative, but it was already outside of the scheduled window.
Bottom line, things happen, but I just wish they kept their appointment times. Although one guy may be busy, it would've been nice if they could dispatch another electrician to make their commitments. Maybe in the near future I'll give them a try.

Amazing electrician.! They responded quickly and had more than enough knowledge. I am blown away with their service. I would recommend then to anyone.!

Veteran Electric is a very professional company. From the moment the team arrived they were professional and considerate. They were extremely forthcoming, and not only gave good service and solved the problem, but went above and beyond to be thorough and clean with the workspace.
I would highly recommend them for their knowledge, professionalism and also their integrity.

Nice guy, nice receptionist, knowledgable and responsive (which most idiots claiming to be biz types here in SA are not), BUT his prices are a bit steep. That said I wish the best for the cat; at least he seemed to be prompt, respectful, skills-based and on point. Peace!

Hi this is for the New Braunfels area. Vince came out to check my circuit for my dryer. We discovered the breaker was outside and tripped. While he was here he worked on the circuit board and now dryer is fixed also.
Timely friendly - veteran to veteran discount
I work from home so he Vince showed up early and didn't interrupt my work schedule. Saved me from getting new dryer.

I just want to say thank you very much Veteran Electric for replacing my old outdated chandelier for my new modern Chandelier really appreciate it and looks fantastic !!
Great Pricing , outstanding customer service

Highly recommend. I needed a breaker panel replaced, and they had a tech out within a few hours after I contacted them. Tech was friendly and worked quickly. I'd definitely use them again.

It is not about the service I received, the electrician was friendly and good at replacing fuses. He insisted on running out to buy the latest model fuse. Quick install. Talked to me a bit about other issues I might want to fix. Sign the pad. Have a good day.
The work works. No complaints.
It is the sales vibe. The guy never quit telling I needed new work. None stop. Like my house was out of code. I looked. I am not. I rebuilt from the studs in 2019. Just do the work. Point out anything you see, I appreciate that; but stop selling yourself.
The price is high; but the work is right. Choose what is more important to you.
Not local. Houston.
Revised review. The owner is right. Everything suggested was noted on the invoice with an explanation. I got an honest opinion. Some of slightly tilted to selling; but at least on paper. I have added a star.

The day I called, on Friday, they indicated JULY Would be earliest to get a quote. Two weeks later I'd get my outlet. The outlet had been on hold for four and a half years. I used to plug the flow tech outside the water heater closet. Only one outlet was in the closet, that was dedicated to the WATER heater. I needed a three hundred dollar outlet dedicated to the filter. Now I can close my closet door and both appliances have their own outlet. They actually called Tuesday asking if Wednesday was good and I said ""absolutely "". The long wait was reduced to mere days! They were polite and professional and this particular job was no easy thing since he drilled through three studs. He also checked my panel because my neighbor said the cold snap impact her panel but mine was in great condition and I had ""top of the line""switches etc.
