Bill from Vermette Electric was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Bill arived on time and completed the work promptly. Bill went above and beyond by taking the time to troubleshoot one of the fans that seemed to be malfunctioning even though it wasn't part of the original work.

Leanne who originally took my call was extremely helpful in quoting the job and worked with me to schedule the work around my schedule. Leanne made sure to follow up with a courtesy call prior to the work to ensure everything was ready to go. The quote I received was the price I paid.

You can really tell that this Leanne and Bill really care about customer service and customer satisfaction. Would use this service again and highly recommend them.

Vermette Electric: When you come out to give an estimate or troubleshoot, let the customer know a charge is being incurred and what that charge is estimated to be (e.g, hourly rate). The customer should have knowledge as to the fact that a charge is being incurred, how much of a charge is incurred, and should render acceptance of charge and consent for work, in advance. Surprising customers with an unexpected bill is not good business! Also, do not yell at, and be scathingly rude to, your customers, when such a misunderstanding is a result of poor communication, on your part.

I've had Bill over to my house three times now. The first was to convert 2-prong outlets into three-prong outlets, the second time to diagnose why an outside outlet had failed, and the third time to install a bathroom exhaust fan. All three times he has done an excellent job.

Bill is very good at describing what he is doing and why he is doing it, and taught me a lot about my house and how its electrical is set up (it's an older home). He makes sure to describe why his work is up to code and why it's important that the work be done that way, and all the work he has done has been top-notch leaving us with no complaints.

Leanne, the other half of the Vermette team has been nothing but friendly with me on the phone, and her quotes are accurate to what I ended up paying every-time.

It's rare to find a contractor you can trust, so I'm happy I found Vermette because it makes it really easy to know who to call when I have issues or work that needs to be done.

Leann answered the phone and was trying to give me a quote. When I told her I wasn't sure about the measurements, she asked ""if I was stupid"". She became very rude when I told her I wanted a different company and so I hung up. She then called me back from different numbers just to yell at me and tell me that I am a terrible person. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY LIKE THIS.

Leanne The rudest people ever. They call us saying they missed a call from me. Told them we DID NOT call and then we hung up. Afterwards started harassing called us 10 times cursing at me and telling me to go to hell, etc because apparently? we called when we never did. Even left a 1 minute voicemail telling me to go to hell and cursing at me and telling me to go back to my country.
