Carlos Velo responded promptly to my request for quote on electric panel upgrade from 100 amp to 200 amp; gave a good quote; told me what to expect in terms of timing from PGE,city permitting, and his schedule; arrived when he said he would; and completed work in highly professional manner. I'm generally not the easiest grader, but he earned five stars or more! I couldn't be happier.

Carlos called me and explained the reason(family emergency at that time). He showed up and provided a makeup for free. He treats business seriously and is very responsible. I will recommend him for future jobs.

If I could give Carlos 10 stars I would!! This is one of the best contractor experiences we've ever had, and we've remodeled a lot of homes. I wanted to replace our old chandelier over the kitchen island with hanging pendant lights and I had called around for estimates. Carlos called me back the same day and I sent him photos of what we had and what we wanted to do. He gave me an estimate the next day; it was reasonable and he scheduled a date when he could do the work. When he arrived at the house and saw me in house slippers, he immediately removed his work boots and proceeded to cover my kitchen cabinets and counter with plastic to protect from the dust of cutting ceiling sheetrock. His work is meticulous, and he checked with me on the spacing of the lights to make sure it is what I wanted. He really listens to what the customer is saying they want. My kitchen looks beautiful with the hanging pendants, AND... he left my counters and floors clean when he left!!

I am so glad we found him, and will be calling him back for more electrical work when we are ready to do it. If you need an electrician that is honest, reasonably priced, and cares about his customers call Carlos, you will be glad you did!!!

I rarely write reviews and only save them for really good ones. We contacted Carlos to help us complete an electrical connection for our store. He's patient, knowledgeable and very well spoken. He ended up being a great asset in finding out there were other issues with the wiring in our store. He spent time explaining to us what needed to be changed. He then advised us to go back to the engineering company that we hired (and paid a lot for) to let them know. They admitted their mistake and reconfigured the wiring plans. Thanks Carlos for helping us catch that. We are in the food business and would definitely hire Carlos for our next ventures.

Amazing communication and speed to come and get it done. Not only was he the first to reply, Carlos was prompt and had amazing communication throughout the job. But more than anything he did a great job at a reasonable price while even coming back to check on everything!

I called Carlos to fix a tripped kitchen outlet due to over loading. I thought it was gonna be hard to find someone to fix such a small job but Carlos treated it just like a regular job. He added a GFCI outlet and asked if I wanted to tie it to another couple of outlets so if something get tripped all outlets get tripped so I thought that might be a good idea so he did it. I paid him which I thought was reasonable and he was very professional. Unfortunately tying my outlets together became a problem since one would trip and all would have to be re-set. and It became a major issue shutting down our microwave each time. I thought to myself how am I gonna get Carlos to get back out here and fix it without costing me more money. I informed Carlos of the issue he had no problem coming out as soon as he could, re-wired the outlet and did not charge me for his time. Carlos is a very honest and professional individual and if I have any other issues I would definitely use him again!

Very happy with the work. Had a larger local company advise we had to shut off our power and do an emergency panel upgrade. Asked for a 2nd opinion and Carlos came and explained panel was not in the shape previous company described and did some work at more than half off what other quotes were. It is hard to find someone trustworthy who isn't just trying to upsell or scare Homeowners Into making unnecessary decisions and Carlos was one of the first people who really broke everything down and in an honest way to give full picture of situation. My neighbor right next door asked me about installing a new electric panel for their townhouse where we share a wall. They received a very high quote from someone so I looked area in my area since it was a project I had been thinking about doing as well. I searched and had a few quotes for both of us. Carlos came right out, gave us a quote we agreed upon and he did the work yesterday! It is not an easy job but got the permits and approval from Saratoga and PGE. Everything went smoothly and very professional, which is hard to find these days. I highly recommend his business.
