Thanh and his crew did excellent work replacing my main house subpanel, installing a new 50A breaker, and running conduit for a new NEMA 14-50 receptacle for an EVSE (i.e., EV charger). The new subpanel and conduit lines look great and easily passed inspection. They handled all permitting and made sure that someone was present for the inspection.

The project took the better part of a day. While the power was out, they ran a generator to keep my refrigerator functioning, which we very much appreciated. Thanh also communicated very well every step of the way.

The price was very fair for the time and labor involved. Highly recommended for electrical work.

Thanh (aka ""Terry"") did a great job replacing our main subpanel, moving a NEMA 10-30 dryer plug a few feet and changing it to a more modern NEMA 14-30 (with a ground plug conductor!), including switching out our dryer AC cable/plug to match, installing a new NeoSwitch + plugged-in ClipperCreek EVSE (colloquially called an ""EV charger""), including securing and routing the new devices and cables nicely, etc etc. He and his crew also installed a couple new outlets, one a GFCI upgrade. His quoted price seemed reasonable enough that I didn't bother with other quotes.

Throughout, Thanh was efficient and pleasant to work with, responsive, very knowledgeable (he's an electrical engineer!), professional, had a great attitude, work ethic, and provided great customer service when one of the new breakers quickly failed (which he said was a fluke and obviously he has little to no control over).

He also warrantied the work for a good long while, I think 5 years if memory serves correctly. And they were on time in the morning to start the work and completed everything within the ~6 hour window provided.

And importantly, he has a good reputation online at review websites, a clear BBB rating, LIABILITY AND WORKER'S COMP (at the time of my work a few weeks ago at least), and is bonded and properly licensed and clear at CSLB (again, at time of my job). And he was happy to provide insurance proof paperwork.

I highly recommend Ngoc Thanh Electric and plan to re-use them as future electrical needs arise. Thank you Thanh and crew!

Terry and his crew did an excellent job replacing my main electrical service panel and riser. He handled the permit process, coordinating with PGE and the inspector for a seamless experience. The crew and work performed was professional in every respect. I would not hesitate to hire them again.
