I was very fortunate to find VC Electric and the owner, Victor. They did excellent work and were very professional and knowledgeable. I had three large lighting fixtures to replace and vaulted ceilings. Victor had to rework the wiring in the brand new dining room chandelier because it not shipped with enough electric wire to accomodate the high ceiling. Very grateful that he was here and had the experience to complete the job. I highly recommend VC Electric! Thanks again for your hard work today!

I recently hired VC electric again. It's been 4 years since I used him last. I called and the next morning he was at my house installing new outlets for a flatscreen tv. Same great experience as I had with him last time. On time, quality work at a reasonable price. Honestly, I don't get why some would be rating him low on Yelp. 5 stars all around!

I also overlooked the bad reviews and reached out to Victor. I paid him to see why my daughter's room kept tripping the breaker. He said it may have been the portable heater. After he left, I later found out from my daughter that she didn't have anything else plugged in the outlets. Called Victor and he said he would have to charge me again even thought he misdiagnosed the problem the first time. Anyway, 'm looking for a new electrician if anyone has a recommendation. Preferably someone who can guarantee their work.

Victor is the man! I got a 240V outlet installed in my garage, so now I can charge my EV while I'm off in la la land. Victor came and explained how the wiring worked in my house, and the safest approach to enhance the existing configuration in order to make it work. A blink of an eye later the work is done, my car is charging, and I'm chatting with Victor about life in the bay. We concluded that life in the bay is good, despite all the traffic. Great experience all around.

Amazing experience that completely exceeded my expectations. Called VC Electric yesterday for a small job installing a few exterior lights at my home. Victor followed up today and offered to come over this afternoon and get it done. Within the hour Victor arrived with one of his guys and got to work. Extremely polite, very efficient and at a reasonable price. Will definitely hire VC Electric in the future.

I saw VC electric in the ad and had an issue with a power surge because of PG&E. I was very concerned with safety. Victor responded very quickly and checked things out with a negative ground checker. He did not have to do any actual wiring or anything. I appreciate response. He showed up at noon and was out by 1 pm. I was a little shocked by his bill for $240.00 which he said was his minimum charge. I was expecting a charge of about half that. So I would suggest everyone ask about minimum charges before you hire an electrician.

Recently I decided to tackle the annoying issue of having my faulty electrical outlets in my house fixed. Some didn't work, others would always trip the breaker. I was not looking forward to it. Needless to say I've been putting it off due to not wanting to take the time, worried about the expense blah blah blah. Since I need to do other work at the house I figured it was time to figure this out. Went to Yelp and started going down the line of businesses in my area. Left my number with several. Most never got back to me, the few that did are not available anytime soon (think September!!) or wanted to schedule an appointment for 2-3 weeks later just to come out and look at the problems THEN schedule a different service call to fix the issues. While I understand this.... who has the time to take off from work twice?!?!

As luck would have it, that's the way it needed to go bec then VC Electric called me back. Spoke with the owner (Victor), he listened to what I needed done and although busy.... was able to schedule a time to meet with me within days to look at the problem and then actually fix it THAT day.

I knew the electrical in my house was a pain in the butt, just didn't know why. Victor explained everything and reassured me the issues were fixable .... cause I was pretty sure they weren't without tearing into walls or something major.

Now all electrical outlets, including the annoying one outside, are fixed ... done in one day and the cost was waaaay less than I thought!

I'll definitely use this company again for my future projects- I wont trust anyone else!

Against my better judgement, I brushed off the one star reviews and decided to give VC Electric a try.

What a mistake! VC Electrics is like one of those companies you see in the news that try to charge you an arm and a leg for things you don't need and scare you into thinking those are things you do need.

We overloaded one of our circuits and were not able to switch the breaker back on. I called several electricians to see if they could come the same day since it was effecting our fridge outlet. The others I contacted were apologetically unavailable or tried there best to troubleshoot with us over the phone. Victor lived close by and said he could squeeze us in while also reminding us of his $180 minimum without even taking a look at anything.

Victor comes out and then proceeds to tell us everything is wrong with our panel and that it will be $3000+ to fix. He offensively degraded the panel and how ""badly"" it is wired to the point he blames my husband for the ""mess"" of how our electric was done. We explain to him that we have only moved into this house barely 2 months ago yet he still continues on the same path of telling us we have a ""big mess"".

My husband has some electrician experience and asks for some pointers on things he himself can do but Victor is clearly of no help unless he's getting paid and flat out says don't touch anything. We ended up not going with Victor yet still had to pay his $180 minimum for basically nothing except scaring us that out electricity was ""a mess"".

By contrast, we contacted 2 other electricians who not only came out free of charge to do an estimate but also reassured us Victor DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT. The panel looked totally fine and they offered the simple fix of moving appliances around so that we didn't have all on just one circuit. While they did offer other upgrades that had some cost they were in no way pushy about it and made it clear that we did not have to worry about our panel at all. On top of that, these guys were actually helpful and thoroughly explained and educated us what we could and couldn't do.

Avoid this scheming, rude and money hungry business. Based on my research there are way better electrician options out there (see my reviews for Frontline and AMZ Electrical).

Victor not only gives fair quote but also provide quality work. He came on very short notice and completed the work in few hours. i would definitely recommend VC Electric for anyone who is looking for decent electric work.

I found a 5-star electrician on Yelp with 8-hour response time, so of course I called him first. After two days without any response, I called twice and no one ever picked up the phone. Victor answered his call immediately, was available, and came right on time as scheduled. I was most impressed with how he gave me alternatives to saving money and energy, and explained everything so clearly that I could follow as a layman. He and Benjamin finished more than six projects I gave them quickly and efficiently in just half a day. After my remodeler dragged on for 10 weeks and still did not finish, this is a breath of fresh air.
