Led by second-generation electrician Carey Frick, who started in his father's electrical company while in high school, Carey obtained his Master’s license only four years post-high school. After achieving his Master’s license, he and his father concluded it was best for him to venture out on his own. He launched a new venture, which turned out to be another electrical business. This business was similar to his father's, catering to the electrical needs of Jacksonville's residents. He operated this electrical company for nine years before stepping back to spend time with his family. Afterward, he created Waterside Electric, where he focused on electrical installations for pools and docks. In 2022, he took the opportunity to guide Vanguard’s team of electricians.
