Val at value electrical construction inc is an honest and trustworthy man to deal with. He gave me the best quote of anyone on yelp and came to fix a couple of electrical problems at our rental unit. He fixed three issues in about an hour and charged us a fair rate. I will be using his services in the future and highly recommend him to anyone .

I needed to have an electric panel replaced in my home. I contacted Val. It took a little time for him to get back to me, but eventually we got everything sorted out. Initially he suggested I contact PG&E in case it was something on their end. PG&E discovered that the panel had a lot of corrosion and the meter was overloading. Val came over and was very nice and straight forward about everything that needed to be done. He gave me a really good quote. He sent Tony and another young man to do the work. Tony was very friendly and explained everything that needed to be done even after Val explained it to me. I didn't mind. It showed to me that they were honest. Even when something unexpected came up he was very honest about what needed to be done. The work was completed in one day. Overall, I am very pleased with the work and especially the communication from Tony and Val. I would highly recommend these guys. Top notch all the way!!

VAL and his guys are great. I had a total rewire for my house. New box and all new outlet and switches. It difficult to get them back for fixes and inspection. They did a great job and will use them again. If you need a electrician I would recommend them.

I've been using Value Electric for several years now and decided it was time to write a review. I LOVE these guys. They are always super polite and courteous and they always get the in done. I mostly have small to medium jobs and they are always responsive. Val is great at making suggestions. I had 10 recessed lights I was thinking of replacing in the kitchen. Val suggested one and installed it and suggested that I live with it a few days and then decide, which made the decision so much easier. I have a big remodel coming up next year and will definitely use Value as my electricians.

Val was fantastic. My decorator brought him in. He went all through my townhouse and recommended what I should do. He was absolutely right. We made a few modifications but all and all it was just what was needed. I never dreamt I could get a lighting designer in an electrician. The work was excellent and they cleaned up professionally. Yes, Val shows up late but does show up. Like many contractors he must be juggling many jobs. He did call and keep me posted. If you use him, just plan on it. His bids and add ons were priced very fairly.

I recently used Value Electrical to install some track lighting. Val came HIGHLY recommended by a real estate agent who uses him exclusively. Val is very nice, provided me with a reasonable estimate, showed up on time and the lighting looks GREAT! Val is smart, KNOWLEDGEABLE about lighting, easy to work with, and I definitely recommend him!

I had a power outage at my house which was kind of scary. A cable had melted up against my circuit box and sparks were flying every time we tried to move it. We called Val who was out there in a few hours. He diagnosed that we had uneven power coming from the pole to our house - 200v on one and 40 on the other. He advised us to call PG & E ASAP and tell them the problem. Within a few more hours, PG & E had come and repaired the line.

To recap, Val made time in his day, drove to Brisbane, diagnosed the problem, told us how to get it fixed and told us to contact him later about upgrading the electrical panel in our house. He left his card and didn't charge us for the visit. His card is posted on our refrigerator and he will be the first guy I call next time I need or want electrical work done.
