Bill and John came over a few hours after I requested emergency help on a Sunday morning when my kitchen outlet was sparking on/off. They were so informative and helpful, and I appreciate the honest tutorial on electricity/power. They fixed a dangerous situation and put my mind at ease and on top of all that, the charge for their work was reasonable. They also assured me that Valiant staff are available 24-7 and I will be using their services again if I have another emergency like this!

The company was the first one to respond to my inquiry - in 1 minute with a price quote just as I asked and answered my follow up question right away too. Amazing!

I was able to schedule an appointment in a week except I needed to reschedule for the following week due to unforeseen situation. Wonderful!
I received follow up texts about what to expect and even a reminder the day before of the appointment, which was very helpful. I appreciated it very much!

Two guys showed up in time as scheduled. They were awesome and the best! They were professional, friendly, respectful, and very knowledgeable in their field. It took them 2 hours (minimum for the service) to figure out and fix the problem but only because my case was unusual, they said. Our power grid or panel was hidden in the attic which we didn't learn was the case until that day. Good thing they were very patient, tested all power outlets in the house multiple times and asked questions as they figure out the cause and/or where the power failed.

I don't normally provide this long of a review but I wanted to spread the word on how great service this company provided me and help get more customers to keep them busy. It's what I can do in exchange for a wonderful experience with this company. THANK YOU and more business to you!!!

I hired Valiant to fix a GFCI outlet in my kitchen and install an exterior outlet, which they did on Nov 23rd for $495. They were very nice and seemed to do good work. However, the outlet they installed keeps tripping and will not reset for no discernible reason and needs to be fixed. I know what I am talking about and know for a fact that it is an issue with the outlet/install, not an issue on my end, based on my detailed and factually accurate assessment of the issue. However, their warranty period is all of 7 days, and we all know the hell that was Nov 23-30, and addressing this issue didn't exactly end up on my urgent priority list. Now that I am finally catching a bit of a break and am able to address my ""to do"" list other than ""surviving, grieving, and working (HCW at a hospital...)"" they want to charge me $250 to come out and fix their mistake -- a total of $745 for an unfortunately botched job. (Well, minus the portion for the very quick and simple kitchen outlet issue.) I have 3 other electrical jobs that I was planning on hiring them for eventually, but unfortunately they have lost my business and I will be looking elsewhere. Steven, (the person I spoke with,) is very nice, but whoever is in charge, (who Steven talked to about a fee waiver,) isn't. Even if he had come back with just a _reduced_ fee I would have considered continuing to give them my business.

All of a sudden, yesterday there were sparks and a burning smell coming out of my kitchen outlet. The first thing that I did was to shut off power from the main panel.

I want to thank Valiant Home Repair from Yelp. The manager was prompt on responding to my Yelp message within an hour or so. I want to give a shout out to Bill and John for helping us during the time we needed an outlet replaced. Both techs came with masks and maintained their distance. They were both knowledgeable and appreciate with all the information they provided us.

My piece of advice is that you can rely on this company and their techs are very helpful. They were ready to answer any questions or concerns we had.

I absolutely appreciate how outside of the box thinking Valiant was.. First to respond, text to help me evaluate vs other electricians who would ""pay me a $50 service fee."" I offered a payment for all the over the phone advice and they refused. Much appreciated.
