We used John Usilton for running new service in an existing home for air conditioning. While he was here, we added work to re-wire some lights and install a new plug. We expected lots of drywall dust and lots of repair following his work but there was virtually no cleanup at all needed and what was needed was addressed by him. Further, when we didn't like the exact location of the plug, he came back almost immediately and moved it at his expense. I think this went beyond expectations for a time and material job when we could have exactly specified the location of the plug. The overall price for all of the work was lower than the range we were told by the AC company to expect. Overall, excellent work and service. We will use him again.

I have used John's services on more than one occasion and can't recommend him highly enough. He is reasonable and takes pride in doing the job correctly. One time he was installing a lighting fixture in our dining room and saw my husband struggling to put together a piece of furniture we had ordered. He completed the work for us and then finished the assembly of the furniture with my husband...no charge.

Five Stars is not enough! John is skilled, reasonably priced, honest and full of integrity. I called him in need of a what I thought would be quick service related to my hot tub electrical hookup. He fit me in his schedule and quoted a fair amount. The job turned out to be more complicated, related to other issues. He worked MANY hours beyond the time quoted, did a ton of trouble shooting to solve the problem and assure safety. I thoroughly expect him to double the price he quote. But he stuck to the original quote. He is a hardworking, great guy who comes the extra mile. I'll never call another electrician.

My house was doing some weird things electricaliy. I called John on a recommendation, and am so glad I did. He arrived on time, and got right to work. He didn't look at me like I was crazy when I explained what was happening and listened patiently. (A feat within itself!) When he started working on the issue, it made zero sense that another breaker would be causing my problem--but of course John was right! He fixed my issue in no time and even had time to help me with a bathroom light I've wondered about ever since I bought my house 7 years ago!
