We had just purchased a home and were having electrical problems. What started as weekly turned into daily electrical breaker trips, even when no one was home or any appliances were on. We had contacted the previous owner/tenant and they had never had a breaker trip.

I found Javier because he wrote ""ELECTRICIAN (858) 880-6080"" in permanent sharpie on our electrical panel. It turns out Javier was hired by the sellers realtor to replace breakers to put the house up to code before the house could be listed.

So naturally, we called and he showed up and offered to help but shortly later didn't respond to calls or texts. At this point we are just trying to diagnose the problem and get an understanding of what was done prior to listing the house. We had several electricians come through our homeowners insurance and ended up getting the panel fixed. Javier was polite but simply not helpful.

Fast forward a year we are installing turf...we have an EV but are currently charging on 110V. Seems like a perfect time to run wire from the panel to the garage and install a 220 outlet and sub panel. Where to start? I open the main panel and Javiers number pops up, so we give him a call and he promptly shows up.

I explain what we are trying to do and he gives us a quote. $800 for the labor + whatever the parts are. He says he can be there the following Tuesday at 10AM. So we coordinated with the landscapers to arrive at that time. Tuesday comes and he doesn't show, call, text or respond at all.

We can't hold up the landscape crew so we trench and lay the pipes. Eventually several days later Javier responds and says he can come the following week and the pipe being laid is not a problem as he can feed the wire through the pipe.

Again, no show, call or text until 2 weeks pass and a late evening text he says he can complete the work the following morning but not for $800+ parts he originally quoted, but this time $2,000 + parts. In 3 weeks the price more than doubled. I had asked why the price changed so much and he said after further review this was the new price.

OK, so at this point I don't care anymore, I just want the work done and I agree to his new price and he doesn't show up. By now, it's been several weeks without any responds to calls or texts.

I gave up on him, but I then see him a few houses away in person doing work, say hello and kindly ask him if he is still able to complete the project and if not, it's okay but to just let me know. He says yes, and agrees to come by the following week. I follow up with several more calls and texts, not a response.

In summary, I liked Javier, he was always polite face to face but did no work for us and ended up being a total waste of time. The only work he did was done prior to us purchasing the house.

The combination of numerous calls and texts without responding, several no shows and the continuing to be led on for months prompted this review. Buddy, I respect the ""hustle"" by trying to get your name out there but if you deface someone's property for your benefit, you better help when they call you, especially with issues that your work likely created.

Javier is not only a nice person, he is honest. I was having intermittent electrical problems at my house - my washing machine motor burned out - the microwave wouldn't work right, etc. I was at my wits' end! I called Javier and he showed up on time and within minutes of arriving he noticed a problem on the electrical pole. He advised to call SDG&E first before investing in upgrading the circuit breaker panel, saving me thousands of dollars. He will definitely be my ""go to guy"" for all things electrical.

As a first time home owner, my husband and I didn't know where to start with all the electrical projects we had identified. Javier was so reliable, professional, and efficient with his time with a wide range of projects - hanging ceiling fans, installing lights, hanging string lights in the backyard, moving outlets, mounting TVs...he did it all and he did it confidently. He even helped us out with random home projects when we are questions or concerns with items that weren't necessarily electrical. His prices are fair and he is an excellent electrician. Called Javier on a Monday afternoon explaining Electrical problem on my parents Circuit breaker in East Co and he immediately responded asking if Wednesday worked for us. He showed up on time and immediately took care of the problem. We found him extremely nice, personable and very honest as the Circuit breaker only required a minor repair. He said it was old, but did not recommend spending the $$ on a new breaker. This is the 3rd time I have used Javier, Ecobee Thermostat install, large ceiling fan I purchased at Costco, and recently for the circuit breaker issue. We had the same great experience every time and referred him to our neighbor who hired him for all the Recessed lighting in their new home here in Coronado.

Javier is great, affordable and easily accessible. He and our HVAC guy communicated effectively to get our A/C up and running during the heat wave. The initial placement of the conduit was incorrect but was fixed immediately. Just a minor hiccup that was addressed in a timely manner during a global pandemic. No worries. I'm calling him for all of my future electrical needs. As a newish homeowner, I have found my electrician and gladly recommend him to friends and family.

So glad we found Javier! It was hard to find contractors during the COVID surge in home improvements. We even had one come to bid that wouldn't wear a mask! But Javier was timely, affordable, professional, friendly and able to work on our project right away.
We moved to northern California and only wish US Electric was available up here!
Can't recommend him any higher - all contractors should be this easy to work with and do such a good job!

Javier did a fantastic job installing some recessed can lights in our stairwell as well as adding some additional electrical outlets in our condo. He was easy to schedule, made insightful recommendations, careful during the work to minimize impact to the existing drywall, and did a great job cleaning up before he left.
