Ray has been helping us out for a long time handling everything from our Ring Doorbell install, Tesla Model 3 charger install, to smaller items like troubleshooting wiring issues in our pool shed and outdoor lights. Ray was great! His communication was prompt, he was very flexible to help out, and he came the same evening to fix an outlet! The wiring in our house had been redone, so it was pretty confusing, Ray spent a lot of time in the attic, tracing the wire paths to figure out where the problem was. In the end, he figured it out! Rate was reasonable, all good!Would use him again!

It's always so cool to meet people who are kind, knowledgeable and trusting. When it's a local business, it's a home run! I went into Ray's shop for the first time and he was so gracious and helpful. I brought in a lamp that decided it didn't want to turn on. I thought for sure it would involve some costly repair but all Ray did was screw in a new light bulb and voila"" it worked. Well I had tried different bulb at home and different outlets, but it still didn't work.

Ray installed a 220v socket in my parents' garage so my sister could charge her car. He did a great job and the socket works well. But it was a 4 wire socket which didn't work with my hybrid car's 3 prong charger. Ray went above and beyond helping me find an adapter so I could use the socket, when no one else (not the car dealership, not the electrical wholesaler in SF) knew what they were talking about. I really appreciate his expertise and straight talk. Highly, highly recommend!

We had partial outage (one room and garage had no power) so I called Ray for help. Ray patiently guided me through diagnostic tests and resetting the power in particular order. After five minutes of testing, the partial outage was restored! I was very impressed and grateful for his help. We will definitely contact him again for all our electrical issues.

I cannot speak more highly of Ray: he is a professional, courteous and very knowledgeable electrician. I had called several other companies; everyone appears to be very busy and no one could come out right away. Ray called back a couple of days later and came out to evaluate the situation. I really appreciated the way he explained everything to me and was so honest with me. He told me that I could always get a second opinion. He came back today to fix the problem. I'm confident that he has identified and resolved my electrical problem. He told me to call if I had any other issues. I would recommend US Electric (i.e. Ray) to all my friends and family.

I waited two weeks for an appointment. He showed up 30 minutes late for a 2 house visit. He spent 10 minutes at my home and said he couldn't help us in the way we wanted. I asked to go to the next house and he said he didn't have time. It's incredulous when he made the choice of date/time and was late. He was very difficult to work with and somewhat rude to me. I do not recommend him.

Although Ray appears to provide thorough electrical services, I would advise to potential customers that they ask him to disclose all costs, particularly ""flat rate"" fees in advance, so as to avoid any unexpected surprises.
