Fergal, Joe and Gary were super helpful with installing our EV charging station in our condominium building. It was the first install in our building and the process took a long time, but they were always available with suggestions and comments. When the time came to install, they did it quickly and we are very happy with the install quality.

We had had previous electrical work done by an electrician who did good work but who gave us an estimate for subsequent work that was several orders of magnitude both above our budget and above other estimates we'd received.

We chose Fergal and Urban Energy as our electrical contractors for our subsequent work for several reasons:
a) polite, clear, and timely communication
b) a fair estimate
c) patience and respect

Tom arrived promptly (ahead of schedule, and was politely waiting in his car until the time of our morning appointment.) He explained our options and the work he would be doing, and also estimated the amount of time that each work item would take. He worked efficiently and neatly, cleaning up after himself and leaving the work areas tidy.

We were happy to have found a reliable, communicative electrical contractor and will definitely be calling Urban Energy again. I'm happy to answer specifics re: the scope of the work and the amount we paid through direct messages.

Excellent work in my home, dealt with our useless old wiring and got everything working perfectly (with some lovely modern upgrades). The Urban Energy team was absolutely wonderful to work with on my first time renovation. Not only is he willing to do work in the city, but it's a huge part of his core business. He was always on time or early and prompt with sending quotes and communicating about my job. He installed ceiling lights in two rooms where I did not have overhead lighting with minimal drywall damage as well as split my bathroom switch to create separate switches for the light and my bathroom fan. He cleaned up pretty well and did all this work at a very reasonable and competitive price (I spoke to multiple electricians). I will definitely be using him again!

Fergal and his co-worker Steven were great. Efficient and timely, they worked hard to get a series of hanging tracks and and an elaborate chandelier hung and working in a timely manner for the opening of my little jewelry space. The building we are in is very old and updating the electrical was tricky. All of the walls and the ceiling in the space are crooked so it was a trick to get everything to look and hang evenly. We were very particular about how everything was laid out and Steven was very patient with us. They always answered my calls and were to quick to address any additional requests. The pricing is very fair and we would definitely hire them again.
