Was looking for an electrician to replace my pendent lights and decided to go with urban energy because the service was excellent and painless. I texted them on Thursday and they were able to come on Saturday in such short notice. They came on time and finished the job as promised in the quote. Then emailed me the invoice and I paid using Vinmo. They made my life so easy and would recommend them to anyone. Oh...and the quote is very competitive.

Fergal and his staff have rewired and replaced 50+ year old lighting fixtures in our San Francisco house.

As a new owner of rental property in San Francisco, it was important to locate an electrician who was honest, on time, competent and reasonably priced. Fergal and Urban Energy met all of these requirements. Urban Energy was accommodating in meeting my schedule, prompt in returning phone calls and emails, and did the work required efficiently and without exceeding the agreed contract price. Best recommendation is that I'll be calling Urban Energy again when I need additional electrical work on the property.

Fergal and the urban energy crew were great!

I had a pretty tricky and not ur usual kind of a job. There were a bunch a small things around my house to do like removing old knob and tube, recessed lighting, & low voltage wiring which were fairly standard and a breeze for his crew.

Kitting out my garage was the bigger job. This has been a work in progress for the last two years I have put alot of time and energy into this and am very picky about the way it was to be laid out.
I use it as kind of workshop where I repair my own camper van, cars motorcycles. I have welders bench grinders plasma cutters etc that need the correct amp outlets wire gauges, breakers etc. some were even 220v.

Fergal had no problem sizing everything, installing all the appropriate breakers and he put outlets in just about every corner of my garage. I was really nervous about passing our Inspection but we passed without a hiccup. Fergal seems to have built up a great reputation/relationship with the city building inspectors.

I have also just started a new business that involves flipping houses and renovating properties around the bay. These guys are most likely going to be my electrial contractors. I need people that can get the job done! With no messing around. I don't mind paying for good clean work!

If I had one complaint it would be I couldn't understand a thing he was saying with that thick Irish accent!!!! Kidding :-) lol

I'm a homeowner who's done about $45K worth of home improvement projects on my Cole Valley apartment, half through contractors and half by myself. Fergal is the most responsive and competent contractor I've worked with, hands down.

My father and I added a wall to divide our single bedroom into two bedrooms, and Fergal handled all our electrical work and lighting (about $6K). He gave us an honest estimate, responded to our questions and concerns immediately and competently, and finished the job exactly as we asked while contributing his expertise to improve the final product. He even threw in some extra installation work for free.

Specifically, Fergal and his team installed 14 LED can lights, about 10 electrical outlets, and three fire alarms. When I called him about cheap LED lights I'd found in Home Depot at 9 pm on a Tuesday he gave me great advice - if you don't buy the best (what he provides) they'll probably start buzzing because of the low-quality dimmers. He was right! Everything he installed has been great, and the stuff I put in has only been mediocre.

I highly recommend Fergal for any of your electrical work. He's the type of contractor you'd love to hire because he'll do the job right and finish it according to what you ask.
