I have used Urban Energy twice over the past year. One was to retro-fit 13 recessed lights from incandescent to LED fixtures and the second was to help us with some remodel work that required an electrical permit and a licensed electrician who could make sure all of our electrical work was done properly and up to code.

In both cases Urban Energy did an outstanding job. They are professional through and through, use good judgment and are reasonably priced. On both jobs, they showed up on time, were courteous, hard working and efficient. They did their work, made sure everything was working properly and left my apartment in a clean and orderly fashion.

Urban Energy did a very professional job installing new electrical in my garage for my new Tesla. My car came earlier than anticipated and Fergal was able to have Damien come out early Monday morning and get the job done well and promptly. It was quite exciting to plug the car in for the first time and have everyone working to my satisfaction. We had had previous electrical work done by an electrician who did good work but who gave us an estimate for subsequent work that was several orders of magnitude both above our budget and above other estimates we'd received.

We chose Fergal and Urban Energy as our electrical contractors for our subsequent work for several reasons:
a) polite, clear, and timely communication
b) a fair estimate
c) patience and respect

Tom arrived promptly (ahead of schedule, and was politely waiting in his car until the time of our morning appointment.) He explained our options and the work he would be doing, and also estimated the amount of time that each work item would take. He worked efficiently and neatly, cleaning up after himself and leaving the work areas tidy.

We were happy to have found a reliable, communicative electrical contractor and will definitely be calling Urban Energy again. I'm happy to answer specifics re: the scope of the work and the amount we paid through direct messages.

Excellent work in my home, dealt with our useless old wiring and got everything working perfectly (with some lovely modern upgrades). Always on time, always had the rights tools and parts with them (unlike others!), great people, easy to discuss things with, and excellently priced for what you get.

The Urban Energy team was absolutely wonderful to work with on my first time renovation. Not only is he willing to do work in the city, but it's a huge part of his core business. He was always on time or early and prompt with sending quotes and communicating about my job. He installed ceiling lights in two rooms where I did not have overhead lighting with minimal drywall damage as well as split my bathroom switch to create separate switches for the light and my bathroom fan. He cleaned up pretty well and did all this work at a very reasonable and competitive price (I spoke to multiple electricians). I will definitely be using him again!
