Just had our security cameras installed by Universal Electrician. After having 3 different electricians come out to give us quotes, I was certain that these guys were the right choice. George and his team were very informative and helpful with the whole process of purchasing and installing our cameras. They clearly explained all the available options and helped us make the right decision. I'll definitely be using them for future projects.

The guys at universal were super helpful. I needed help last minute when part of the electricity at my house went out and although the dwp was able to fix it in the end, they were super helpful to answer my questions and tried their hardest to find the parts I needed to complete the job then followed up to see if I needed anything else which was very nice of them. Great customer service. Friendly and prompt I would I highly recommend. I will definitely be calling them if/when I need an electrician in the future.

Hovik was professional, and courteous! I got same day service!!! He sent 2 electricians to my house, Edgar and Albert to replace an old ceiling fan/lamp. They were both quick, nice and very knowledgable. They cleaned up after themselves and were in and out in 45 min. They are licensed and bonded and I trust them. I will refer them to my friends and will call on them again for any electrical needs.

The power in my apartment went out due to a short circuit. I called Universal Electrician and spoke with Hovik. Hovik informed me that that it was a problem with my main circuit breaker. Rather than send an electrician down, Hovik was patient and helped me with the problem. He then patched me into George his electrician to help.

Although I decided to do the job myself, Hovig from Universal Electrician was very professional, helpful and polite. He sent out a crew right away and they gave a very accurate estimate. I just can't afford it. The technicians who came out were also professional, polite and didn't push me into something I did not need.

Great service through and through!
On Wednesday evening my sister and I did something we do every day: we used the microwave to heat up some food. This time, within a min. of starting it, the power went out in various parts of the apartment, (mostly wall sockets in different rooms). I've had similar things happen in other places I've lived in so I tried resetting the breakers in the apt but that didn't do anything. We were then concerned that something inside the walls might've been damaged. We called Universal Electrician and spoke with Hovik to schedule a visit for the next day, (We were still able to use the ceiling fans and it was cool enough that night that we decided to save ourselves the off-hours fee).
Edgar showed up right on time on Thursday and, after asking some questions and patiently listening to my explanation of what happened, he proceeded to test the various outlets and the breaker box in the apartment. It turned out that there were two master breakers located outside the apartment, (for some reason this didn't even occur to me), which he reset, fixing the problem.
The whole visit lasted about 15mins. and saved us a ton of money. Edgar was professional, courteous, and sincere the entire visit. He even took a little time to explain some aspects of electrical wiring and provided some suggestions to prevent that from happening again.
I'll definitely call or recommend them for any other electrical problems I come across.

Awesome service, quick response, owners name is George. Very professional, has a lot of knowledge on what he does. You can trust this guys on your electrical problems new or old.

Called universal electrician 3 days ago on a short I was getting on my plugs. Found them on yelp gave a call came to give a estimate in 1 hour George was in Burbank. Needed the repairs started the job re wired, change my 1920s breaker, couple new plugs, and paid the men and we were good to go.

Now I know who to call for my next project I have ADU he said he will come by to give a quote on that.

THE ONLY HONEST ELECTRICIAN ON YELP! I called more than FIVE other electrical companies and they all gave me a run around and didn't give me the information I needed as George did from Universal Electrician. Helped me solve my issue over the phone for free rather than trying to come out here and charge me for something that I could've done myself. I'm glad there are still some good people in the world. I definitely recommend this company and will be using them for all my future electrical needs.
