Responsive contractor (sometimes hard to find!), fair pricing and a congenial crew. We installed a new main panel and can lights in our dim kitchen, plus a few miscellaneous plug/switch issues. Very professional from start to finish!

After contacting several electric companies to purchase and install a standby generator for my full residence since August 2019, only one contractor responded from Reno. They were very over priced and the starting date was in April.
In February, I came upon Universal Electric. I was surprised he serviced the Graeagle area from Lake Almanor. Before giving me an estimate, they dropped off the generator (within 2 days), the one I was looking at, and told me if I did not like his estimate, he would be back to pickup the generator at no cost to me.
His estimate included everything I requested and was very reasonable. After increasing the size of my propane tank, they were back in one week to complete the installation and scheduled a county inspector for the final inspection.
Great job and coodo's from the inspector. With reviews like this, I will contact Universal when I am ready for my solar panels.

It has been a couple years since I had Ian install a backup generator at my house but I have to give a thumbs up for job that he did. On time and on budget.
