Terrible customer service. Beware any American Home Shield customer who gets assigned this company. The first technician who was sent out to evaluate the AC told me that both coils were leaking and he recommended that my outside and inside units be replaced. FOUR days later a second technician was sent out to evaluate my unit because ""more information was needed"". This time the technician told me that nothing was wrong with the unit and the first tech must have ""cleared the drainage line bc the AC is running"". Yes it was running but there was barely any air being pushed through the vents inside. I called AHS and they put a recall order in with this same company. For a third time I was asked to schedule an appointment and take time off of work. I was promised an 8am due to that fact that they needed to come out for a third time. My appointment came and went and I didn't receive a call. I called them and was told my appointment was between 9-12pm. When I explained everything above and my disappointment I was told ""I'm sorry but your appointment is between 9-12"". No attempt to rectify or acknowledge that a mistake was made. I called AHS and filed a complaint and canceled my service request with this company.

With a heat index of 100 degrees they even brought in portable ACs just to make it bearable. I can't thank everyone there enough for making a very uncomfortable situation bearable. I recommend this company to anyone in need of air conditioning repair - just don't expect a miracle in the ""heat"" of a bad situation. Thanks again Janet for keeping us all cool.

Absolute dishonest and bunch of looters. I will not recommend this company. If you do call, make sure you have at least $180.00 ready for them to tell you that it will take 6 more hours to solve the problem.

Called them for fridge hook up, told them I will need to connect waterline from under the sink, no one was sent for estimates prior to the plumber. So the plumber came end up couldn't do anything because he doesn't have the parts needed, he was here for about 30 min, gave me a quote of the work will need to be done and left, said he is not charging anything. two days later, got a call from the company says I owe them 178 dollars, I reasoned with them, they still insisted had to charge me at least $89 because the technician came to my house. It was ridiculous, no work done and just robbed me for $89

What a horrible company. We were sent USHAC from our home warranty company to replace our water heater. At the first visit we were told an estimate of what we would be responsible for and that changed once the tech came back to replace the heater. We were being charged $125 for a connector piece that costs $17 at the hardware store. when calling to complain to the office and get refunded for that the lady was extremely rude and stated she would do nothing about the cost and that we owed another $75 fee for disposal of the old heater which was never mentioned to us. she stated if we didn't pay she would call the tech to disconnect and take back the new heater then hung up on us. So we reached out to the GM of the company who was just as bad. he also was rude stating he could charge whatever he wanted and we couldn't do anything about it and what did we care because we were getting a free heather. we have paid for the home warranty for 12 years and still paid almost 400 for the heater so in no way are we getting anything for free. he refused to budge on the bill at all. they have no customer service. no anything to make the custome happy. I have never seen a company act in such a way towards a customer. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Awful, awful company. Worked on the AC unit in the downstairs apartment and next thing I have water and dirt spewing out of my unit. Guy tells me not to worry that he will come back and fix it if anything happens... Fast forward a few weeks and my AC breaks so I call them and ask them to come check it out, like they said they would, and they proceeded to tell me I would be charged. The woman was extremely rude on the phone to me so I asked for a manager. Owner, billy, comes on the phone and i begin to explain the situation. He was disgustingly rude and incompetent and kept cutting me off and would not let me speak. When I told him I was told I would not be charged, the owner told me the other guy would have to come out on his own time as he wouldn't pay for him to come and that he doesn't work for free and he hung up the phone on me. Way to run a business, billy.

Our A/C has been leaking and not working well so I called AHS our home warranty and the referred us to USHAC. I must say that my experience was very delightful with this company. I was told between 8-9 a.m. Jose called me a bit after 8 and told me he was on his way and would be here in 15 mins and he was. He went the extra mile and showed me what he was doing and why. I asked a lot of questions (as I""m a new home owner) and he patiently answered all of them. He worked hard and efficiently so he was done by 10 a.m. He dug out our buried A/C condensation line, cleaned out the tray, put in a ""T"" pipe for maintenance, all with a smile. He recommeded that our coils be cleaned so we're waiting for approval from AHS.

I did check the reviews and I was a bit worried but I'm grateful that it all turned out fine :-)

Believe the poor reviews on this site...they are dead on! The people in customer service are unbelievable. They will yell over you on the phone & they show no commitment to getting your AC fixed even in the worst of Orlando's summer heat. I will never ever use them again. I can't see how they are even in business unless they are fully reliant upon people like myself who get suckered into working with them through the home warranty company. My technician was actually very pleasant & seemed to care about doing a good job. The 'ladies' in dispatch and customer service are the real problem. They are unresponsive, disgruntled, & clearly do not care about the value of the service they are providing. Customers are apparently a mere annoyance to them, no matter how much $ you are forking out for their services (which I later found out is much higher than many of their competitors). My advice would be to look around & do everything you can to avoid working with this company.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Don't use these people. The only thing worse than their work is their customer service. The only reason I used them is because they are contracted through my home warranty company. They came out initially last Friday because we had been having issues with flickering lights and then our AC and dryer wouldn't work. When they came out I showed the tech the issue as pointed out by the power company, a burnt out lug (or something like that) in the meter. He looked inside and out and then told me he was not comfortable turning on my power and that he couldn't fix the issue that day. We were going to be out of town for the weekend already so I wasn't too concerned. They scheduled us for the ""first appointment"" on Monday and I later called the office to get clarification of just what time they would be there and was told 8am. I took the day off work and I rushed home (we stayed at a relatives since we didn't have electricity) to be there for the 8am appointment. At about 8:40, after no one showed and no one from the company called I called the office and a not so friendly woman told me the tech was on his way and should be at my house within 20 mins (so 9am, not 8 as I had been told). The same tech came out and spent the first hour getting the low down on another techs weekend before he got started. Finally at 3pm, they finished wiring from the main line to the panel and we flipped the switch and the house came to life, all except the dryer. He left and everything seemed fine until later last night when the lights started to flicker when the AC went on. Thinking it was just an issue with the AC, we shut it off. But the flickering continued and then our house went dark. We checked the panel and to my surprise nothing was tripped, which concerned me. How in the world did our lights and electricity stop and yet it looks like everything is fine. It was then I started to get concerned about safety, especially when my bedside lamp flickered on and off, even though it was switched off. I noticed some things were still on and working, our fridge and an outlet charging my cell phone. I called USHAC and their answering service told me they would relay the message and someone would call me right back. 30 minutes later, we still had yet to get a call back. I again called the answering service and about 15 mins later I received a call back. The woman didn't seem to know what she was doing though. She kept asking me to repeat my experience and it sounded like she was writing it word for word. She said she would have a tech out to us, but that he was located in Winter Springs, so it would take 30 mins for him to get to us. Over an hour later someone arrived and proceeded to talk on his cell phone for another 30 mins in my front yard before coming in (still on the phone and telling someone in Spanish that he was at work). Super unprofessional and rude. He looked at the work that had been done thoroughly and said he could not get our electricity back on because they hadn't replaced the part in the meter I originally pointed out. He said someone would be out first thing in the morning to replace it, but again, no one came by or called. I finally called them and the dispatcher said she didn't have any knowledge of the issue and would call me back. 30 mins later she still had not called me back, so I called her. They dispatched someone with the part we needed and finally 5 days after I reported the issue it was fixed. I am not sure how companies with bad customer service and who don't fix issues the first time stay in business. Do yourself a favor and use another company.

They came into my apartment complex to replace the plumbing as part of a complex wide renovation project. They were in my apartment for several days and until the second to last there was no issue. On the second to last they needed to access the attic space through my closet. They destroyed my closet. Clothes on the floor, drywall and fiberglass insulation all over everything, and a collectable I was storing in there since it was so large damaged. Even the structure of the building was damaged, the frame around the panel to enter the attic space is cracked in multiple places. I can provide pictures of all of this. They have utterly refused to take responsibility for any of the damages. I was called a liar, told I caused the damage, and hung up on when I attempted to contact them.

When my apartment complex attempted to deal with them they were told the only way I was getting compensation was if I took them to court. They refuse to provide their insurance information, something I have every right to request and was advised by my insurance to seek. I'm currently looking into my legal options and will be contacting lawyers as I try to assess if it's even worth the fees associated with suing them to take them to court, but the utter professionalism and disregard for myself and my property is staggering. Do not trust them with your home, they may destroy it and then call you a liar when you try to make them take responsibility.
