Artin came to my house to fix a light that was flickering and found out the wires had shorted out and could have been a dangerous situation. He saved the day and fixed my breaker box too!! Yay!! Awesome service!

We had an electrical outage in one of the buildings on our church campus over the weekend. Our regular electrician was out of town so we called United & they dispatched Toto T. He said the fix was to replace the main breaker at a cost of $650. Since the building w/o electricity is our preschool facility, time was of the essence to make sure that the building was fully functional by first thing Monday morning. So, we paid his asking price.

After he left, the lights were working, but some of the outlets were not. Our regular electrician came on Monday to figure out the problem. First, he tested the main breaker that Toto said was bad and found absolutely nothing wrong with it. He explained how the main breaker, when tripped, can be easily manipulated to appear broken. He found the real problem, a very simple fix, and charged us only $20. He also said that it should only cost ~$100 to replace the main breaker.

I understand that a company can charge whatever they want and if I agree to it, then that's partially my bad. However, if you want an electrician with integrity, do not call United.

They proudly give free estimates...? Well, ok. What they really mean is that they will have a guy call you, ask you a couple of questions and then quote you a price.
I called yesterday, the guy I spoke to said someone would be out to my house to give me an estimate between 12-2 pm today. At 11:35 am, a guy called and said it would cost $7000 for air con or $10,000 for a new central heating/air con system. He would not come to take a look at my house because he ""didn't need to."" He also confidently told me I needed a new heater (ugh, what?) after I told him there wasn't anything wrong with my central heat, just wanted to add air conditioning.
Why would anyone agree to pay a company $7 grand over the phone, sight unseen. How do these people stay in business? Unprofessional. And I was unsettled by that guy who called. Gruff, abrupt and out of left field.

I called United, because my garbage disposal switch couldn't be turned off. I was tempted to call my handyman, but just in case I decided to bring an electrician in. Artin came over and tested the switch very carefully, and there was a giant spark. Apparently, there was a short somewhere, and our breaker hadn't detected it. Thank god for Artin! We could've had a fire on our hands. He was incredibly professional and polite about the entire thing. When it came time to change the breakers (many of which were old and faulty), he led me through all of my options disinterestedly. Then he quickly and diligently went through the entire house, making sure everything worked. He even hung out for an extra ten minutes to help me figure out which breaker went with which part of the house. (The labels on the breakers had worn down so much that you could no longer read them.) Anyway, I rarely write these types of reviews, but I just felt like I had to give a shout out to Artin and his company. I woild obviously recommend them wholeheartedly for any electrical situation.

The company sent me Artin to trouble shoot and fix my light fixture in my wine cave. He diagnosed the problem and offered me a cheaper solution. He was honest, thorough and efficient. It was refreshing to deal with good service companies nowadays. Highly recommended.

Artin was my electrician- he was great and very specific also very quick at fixing our problem! The company did a great job as well to make sure they got someone out at a time to fit my schedule.

We tried to have United come out to provide us with an estimate for a panel upgrade and AC installation. They called me and nicely informed me that I would have to pay $69.00 for them to come out to do an estimate which is funny because their website says ""Free Estimate"". Clearly, we don't have the same definition for free.

Now, I'be been speed dating a bunch of electricians and AC installers so I consider myself pretty verse at this point in estimate getting ettiquette. Maybe I've been spoiled by all these slutty electricians but offering me free estimates.

The lady on the phone did call me back when I nicely but firmly told her ""thanks but no thanks"" to offer me a free estimate but at that point it was too little too late.

I don't usually write reviews but I am really impressed with this company. Their customer service is amazing and they are always on time. I had issues with wiring and my breakers and one of the contractors Toto came out and he basically re-did everything and I just have to say it is crazy good. I have never seen anyone do such a perfect and clean job. If you're looking for someone that knows what he is doing and has years of experience he is definitely your guy. If you're looking for something cheap then go with another company, but if you don't want your house to burn down and want something that'll save you money at the end, then this is the place to call. Ask for Toto, he's great and really nice guy too
