What I needed: (3) Polaris taps installed in the energized overhead service drop, tying in the new panel 3/0 cables... United was able to send a tech within a couple of hours. After the tech took some pictures and consulted wi the office he left and said he would get back to me. A few hours later I received a call from the field supervisor. We talked some details and then he said just what I wanted to hear - ""let me come over and tie in those cables for you"". WOW!!! This guy was on it and new exactly how to cut the energized service lines and attach the Polaris taps. Very personable and showed ""Absolute quality and confidence of skill"". How lucky I was to have United handle business so quick and efficiently. Them sending such a quality experienced tech is what made the difference! Beast!

Our doorbell hasn't worked in over a year and after researching for a long time, finally called United Electric service. Fortunately, it was just an issue with rust which Carlos, our electrician, spent some time cleaning, saving us a couple hundred from buying a new doorbell panel. He was extremely polite, professional, and transparent with the pricing, taking time to research and explain options. I would highly recommend them based on my experience.
I don't have much to compare to, but this will be our go-to company. Thanks again, for your service, Carlos!

There are no ""negative star"" options, so I had to give at least 1 star. I would give negative 100 starts if possible.
My tenant reported that he had 3 adjacent outlets in one bedroom that would not work. When it first happened, I walked the tenant through the basic troubleshooting steps over the phone. He checked the two circuit breaker panels that could have had a tripped breaker - and no breakers were tripped. I also asked him to check the GFCI outlet in the bathroom, but it was still working. I (the landlord) don't live in the area so I couldn't be there and inspect more thoroughly myself. I called United Electric Services to have an electrician come and take a look.
The electrician arrived within the arrival window and spent a few minutes inspecting the two circuit breaker panels (checking again for tripped breakers) and what else he did I don't know (I was not there). After his inspection, he called me. First, he stated my main panel was seriously corroded - and that could be the problem. That would be about $9800 to fix. Then he stated the 2nd panel was ""full"" and needed to be expanded - and that would be $4500. He then said that if I wanted him to investigate more, it would be $1500 - because my house was two stories.
We told him that was too much money - and he left.
Because the three outlets were still broken, we still needed to get them fixed. My stepson (who works in construction) was on his day off and was in the area. We asked him to take a look. He inspected the first outlet and did not see any problems. He then moved to the 2nd outlet - and immediately saw that it was a GFCI outlet (which he thought was odd in the middle of a bedroom wall). Upon seeing the GFCI outlet, he just pressed the reset button and the circuit was restored. All three outlets began working fine.
Remember, I originally requested that an electrician inspect and fix three broken outlets. The United Electric Services electrician didn't even inspect the three broken outlets before presenting totally outrageous solutions. I wonder if he even looked at the three broken outlets. If he didn't, he was incompetent. If he did (and noticed one of the bad outlets was a GFCI), he was beyond dishonest. Either way, he was willing to charge us $9800 to upgrade a circuit panel instead of taking one second to press a reset button on a GFCI outlet.
Beware! This company is totally incompetent or a horrible scammer - or both. They are dishonest, disgusting and take advantage of less educated/experienced people.

United electric was very professional. Quoted my job. They Beat a competitor price to get the business. Jessie our tech was on time, wore shoe coverings, and cleaned up after himself. Completed the job within a reasonable timeframe also. I would definitely use them again for other electrical needs

I just wanna take a moment to thank United Electric for their incredible service really from start to finishh I felt like I'm in good hands! Jessie made sure I know what to expect and really kept his word with the quality and speed! Highly recommended

I was in need of a ceiling fan installation so I contacted United Electric and made an appointment. On the Date of the appointment, The electrician (Jessie) arrived on-time. He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Jessie completed the install in less than an hour. I would absolutely recommend this company for my future electoral needs.
Thanks Jessie, appreciate your good work.
