Do not work with this company. First, only the owner is licensed and all the employees who do service calls are not. Their employee Robert has come out 3 times to our home. He was rude, condescending and a real bully to me (when my husband wasn't around). My 19 and 21 year old kids were around and witnessed it. He could not fix the issues and inaccurately reported back to the insurance company. Run from this company. I now have complaints open with BBB and next step is small claims court. Robert should be fired and if he wants to remain in the business - GO TO SCHOOL!

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness
Sent to my home by First American Home Warranty

They cancelled the first appointment, and the disgruntled employee showed up for the second appointment to inspect the pool piping and pool heater.

The piping is leaking from multiple joints; but his report says because a screw was tightened too much (leak didn't start until we used the heater for the first time since moving in), that caused all of the leaks. I'm sorry, this is impossible..from an engineering perspective. The plumbing is old! It should at least be leaking from the crack mentioned, but, it definitely isn't. I even pointed it out to him...

The pool heater. Yes, the 41 year old pool heater...he documented on his report it is damaged from the chemicals...it is 41 years old and rusted to the core...how is this due to chemical damage? I also mentioned the heater will not heat the jacuzzi past 80 degrees. He documented in his report ""it worked when tested"". His documentation showed a 3 degree increase in temperature, 78 degrees! I asked if it is a fire hazard, and he wouldn't answer the question!

He was rude and wouldn't answer simple questions I had. He wanted to argue everything I asked. He falsified documentation denying my First American Home Warranty Claim. Seems the way this company works...

Terribly disappointed with this company and with the technician Robert.
Unified was called through American Home Shield, my warranty company. Robert came out and was rude to my 70 year old father and to me. He was short, didn't communicate what was going on at all! He complained the entire time about having to take his day off to repair the company vehicle...when he was done, he didn't offer any information. I had to PRY the info from him on what would happen next, etc.
It was just terrible service.
I used another company to fix it. It took 20 minutes and was super easy and the technician said that Robert had given some incorrect information to AHS.

Excellent job. On time, called ahead, drove to Home Depot and returned with new circuit breaker. I think the electrician was Paul(?).

They are the worst. I called Fidelity Home Warranty on 8-5-2020 and they advise Unified Contractors would be calling me to schedule a small repair on my pool system. Unified came out to inspect the problem with my pool on 8-14-2020. I called Fidelity on 9-16-2020 they advised Unified Contractors submitted the inspection report on 9-08-2020. Fidelity advised they sent the approval for the repair back to Unified Contractors on 9-8-2020. Unified Contractors sent me a text on 9-15-2020 asking me to call them to schedule an appointment. I've called them several times over the past three days during 9:00am-5:00pm and left voice messages.. I finally got someone on the phone on 9-17-2020 . They scheduled the repair appointment on 10-1-2020. Two months to replace a $75 value on a pool filter.

I had been told that I needed a whole new filter by my pool guy... Well Kevin from Unified Contractors came yesterday (respecting all social distancing protocols and wearing a mask) and took one look at the problem and said I needed a new capacitor. He even had one in the truck! Fixed and settled in 20 minutes. Thanks guys!!!

I had no choice to use this company because my home warranty (First American) sent them. This company is disorganized, unprofessional, and lack customer service. They simply do not care.

They first came out to my house on 5/5/2020, they identified the part that needed to be fixed, ordered it, and never called me back. I called them several times, they never answered and mail box was full for weeks. Finally my home warranty got a hold of them and I was then rescheduled for 6/16/2020.

Kevin came out on 6/16/2020 to replace the part only to identify that the previous worker had missed another broken part. I contacted my home warranty only to find out that Kevin was taking his sweet time to submit the information to the warranty,I was again rescheduled after I made contact (they never called me) for 7/8/2020.

Kevin came back out on 7/8/2020, he seemed over worked, miserable and lacked customer service. Not a single smile, nothing. Well Kevin brought the missing part but is was a broken part that he didn't check at his warehouse/office and once again I had to call to reschedule.

I was rescheduled for 7/16/2020 between noon and 5pm. This time they completely forgot to come, not a single call nor message. I was home all day waiting. I am beyond over this so called company. On the phone with home warranty as we speak because this is beyond annoying and unprofessional. I just want my spa fixed before it starts to snow again because at this rate who knows how long it will take and if they do get it to work, will it even be quality work?

This company is a joke. They are so disorganized they need to lie. You're probably using this company through your warranty company so...if you have a choice, don't use them. They know the rest of us are stuck with them.

They'll say they are waiting for your warranty company to approve the quote when they didn't even submit the quote. They'll say they haven't heard back when the approval has been sitting in their inbox. They'll schedule with you weeks out and the day before they'll send a cancelation email to you so you have to call back and reschedule. Then when you reschedule and you wait days again for them and the day comes and you wait for them during that 4-hour window, they'll no-show you. When you call to complain, they'll hang up.

Go somewhere else if you can, you'll thank me later! Fingers crossed I get my pool filter replaced here soon.

I was very concerned when Fidelity National Home Warranty (FNHW) assigned Unified Contractors to handle my broken pool heater, after the hassle I had with FNHW and reading online reviews for Unified. However, Unified actually did a great job installing a new pool heater. I also had some of the issues that other reviewers mentioned, but I believe they are the fault of FNHW not Unified.

The Pentair replacement that Unified chose seems superior to the Raypak it replaced: smaller, more efficient, and a more corrosion-resistant enclosure.

Unified's installers did a good job with the installation. I was especially concerned about adapting the plumbing to match the new unit, but it looks great. I was able to schedule installation right at the beginning of the COVID-19 quarantine and am happy our spa has been operational while we've been stuck at home.

There are only a few things keeping me from giving Unified 5 stars:
1) FNHW brought Unified on in December as a 2nd opinion. It took until March to finally get the heater installed. I pin most of this on FNHW's process and poor communication, but I feel like Unified could have been a better partner in getting the repair done quicker.
2) Due to the plumbing, heater size, history of problems with FNHW, etc. I wanted to know which heater Unified was going to install before I paid the $375 service fee. I had to call several times but finally got the response I needed.
3) Unified cancelled the initial installation appointment - the morning of the appointment - due to rain. It actually didn't rain that much and stopped by the time of the appointment, but I don't blame the installer too much for not wanting to work in those conditions.
