Unified contractors was able to get a tech out next day when we called. We really appreciated Felipe's work. They gave us a text heads up that Felipe was on his way. He was on time, efficient and kind. We will be using UC again because of Felipe.
I agree with other homeowners that the service of this company sucks. what I wanna share with you is that even if they're assigned by home warranty company, you may still have a chance to ask home warranty to switch to other service provider. let them know the company doesn't pick up customer's call. their review is only one-star. Articulate firmly! they may switch to another company they have for you. I had a electrician company I worked with in the past (who did decent job) thru the same home warranty company, and I asked home warranty company to switch from unified contractor to that electrician right after I found out the awful reviews of unified contractors, and fortunately they did it. Try NOT to let them take advantage of you. if they don't deserve your trust, try swipe it off the table even if it goes thru a home warranty company.
Jason S.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY OF YOU HAVE A HOME WARRANTY!!! I have never had an issue with who First American Home Home Warranty sends out until now. They were supposed to come out to fix one issue and left creating for new ones. Daniel Huerta this joke of a technician they sent out didn't even bother to come get me once he said he was done with the work, which the pump was working when he left because he cleaned the dirt that was in my pool left over from high winds we had. I'll let the 4 pictures I have attached speak for themselves as Daniel failed to properly connect 2 wires that were just left hanging, did not seal the main group of wires that cover the majority of them, and the most importantly did not have the computer brain of the pump flush so it's sealed from water.
Worst company EVER!!!! Contacting my lawyer and will absolutely sue!!!
Marco L.NO!!!!!!! They asked for money in advanced with my insurance and never showed up that day or even contacted me that they were coming! I have cameras and a gate but They said the fountain was not working and pocketed my 150. When I tried to get a hold of them again for details, they didn't respond. 2weeks later, no luck or details. I've texted, called, and emailed.
This vendor has no sense of customer service. They stood us up 3 times for pool repairs. They do NOT return calls and ghosted text messages.
I would give zero or negative stars if I could, but in order to post a review, Yelp requires I ""select a star rating"", and they don't give an option for zero or negative stars....
On Thursday, December 29, 2022 at around 9:00 a.m., my home warranty company assigned Unified Contractors as the contractor for an electrical issue at my home.
I was supposed to hear from Unified Contractors within 24 hours to schedule an appointment to address the electrical problem, but I did not receive any communication from them.
Given that we were in the midst of holiday season, I waited until mid-morning Tuesday, January 3, 2023 to receive contact from Unified Contractors to schedule an appointment. Having heard nothing from them, I called the number provided by my home warranty company (213-379-3995), and the outgoing voice mail directed me to call another number (909-360-8761) for appointments. I followed the instructions, but still did not reach a person. I left a message explaining the situation and requesting a call back.
Still not receiving any contact from Unified Contractors by midday on January 3, I called the 909 number again and left another message explaining the situation and requesting a call back.
By late afternoon on January 3, I still had not received any communication from Unified Contractors, so I contacted my home warranty company.
The representative at my home warranty company placed me on hold, and when she returned, she explained that she had to call ""every number"" she had for Unified Contractors before she was finally informed that they were delayed due the holidays, and I should wait until Wednesday or Thursday of the same week for a call.
By 4:30 p.m. Thursday (January 5, 2023), I still had not received a call from Unified Contractors. Again, I called both numbers (twice each), but was unable to reach a live person, so I left a detailed message and requested a call back.
I have reached out to my home warranty company again regarding Unified Contractor's failure to contact me or return my message. My home warranty company informed me that, if they are unable to obtain communication with Unified Contractors by tomorrow, they will assign a different contractor. At this point, I am hopeful Unified Contractors does NOT respond, because based upon my experience, coupled with what I see in others' reviews, I have zero confidence in their responsiveness, customer service, trustworthiness, and competence.
Jesse C.Set up an appointment for replacement of our swimming pool filter for Jan 3, from 8-12pm. Nobody showed up. There was no contact and zero communication.
Looking at the other reviews, looks like these guys are trouble. Gonna called AHS immediately to change contractor.
Nihaahs E.scammers. liars. dude came out and did nothing . then told ahs insurance that they couldn""t ""acess"" my pool equipment. liars. this is a scam! they just collect the service fee and get rich not doing any work. such loosers.
Complete frauds. Lied about what was done and refuse to answer the phone to provide the alleged report of work that did not occur. They deserve negative stars, run far away from this company.
Dori N.BEWARE!! He took our deposit and didn't show up. We can't reach him now and he won't answer his calls.
