3) Fixed my radiant heat in an hour. It had been out for 2 years. I had both a contractor AND and electrician look at it before and said it was likely a major repair job (so i just bought a couple plug in radiators) Josh took a look and had it fixed in an hour. Unreal.

I have already recommended him to everyone in my building cause our building is very old and I'm sure other apartments have the same issue as mine.

Josh (John Tugman) was the guy that finally solved my problem! For over a year my floor heating was not working and he was able to solve it in 5 minutes! Two other electricians had tried previously and he was able to see and fix the issue! WHEW - he was easy to work with and very professional! I was thrilled to have him work at my home and will gladly call him again if we have other issues!

I would highly recommend John!
He showed up on time with a good attitude and all the appropriate tools to do the job. My wife and I hired John to install a ceiling fan on a radiant heated ceiling which can be tricky. He was very cautious and took great care to do the install properly. He quickly assessed the original ceiling fan was not safely mounted and made sure the new fan was installed correctly. Josh Tugman did an excellent job for me. It started with installing new radiant heat thermostats and carefully installing can lights into ceilings with radiant heat wires running through them. Josh was passionate about his work, and he was committed to doing what he promised. Josh even went out of his way to help others on the job site who were doing other jobs at the same time. And, Josh showed true customer loyalty. He kept in touch with me after his part of the project was finished, just to be sure that the rest of my project was moving forward. Josh even found someone to help me get tiling done when I was in a bind.

Josh (John's his actual name, but goes by Josh) is a master at radiant heat! I had a heating/cooling company come out and confirm that my living room's radiant heat wasn't working and since they don't know the systems very well, their best solution was to spend a lot of money on a new heating system they could provide. I called at least 5 other companies, all stated they don't service these systems, but they could get me a new heating solution at a competitive price... Then I called Josh.
He took the time to explain his process over the phone, said he can make most appointment times work bc he's not just 9-5, and then came at my convenience - Saturday at 9am. He was on time (5 minutes early actually). He took a look at my systems, insisted on upgrading the thermostats bc they were outdated and didn't even charge bc he wanted the job done right! Then he searched and searched with his special equipment until he was able to find where the break was in the radiant heat line. He opened up the ceiling just about 2 inches by 3 inches, confirmed the nick in the wire, cut out the bad portion and reconnected the line. Soon as that happened, boom! We had continuity and the heat was back up and running at a toasty 85. He plastered back up the little hole, cleaned up after himself and retested the system to make sure we were good.
He then asked if there's anything else he could help with. So, I took him up on it. He replaced two kitchen outlets to TR GFIs, reconnected a loose flex connector to my garbage disposal, & even installed a waterproof cover on an exterior outlet.

All in all, I can't stress enough how great Josh is. His pricing is extremely reasonable and his knowledge and passion for the system can't be beat. If you live in WeHo, Hollywood, or anywhere in SoCal where you have radiant heat and don't want to spend the money on a new system, call Josh. Simply the best.

I love John Tugman! I hired him for a radiant heat problem. No heat! He was on time for our first visit and methodically checked the entire system and found my problem promptly.
He gave me options for repair, explained everything in detail (more than once as I am female) and then told me which new heating unit to buy and where. Easy easy.
Today was my installation day! He was even a little early! The job went well and now, thankfully I have heat.
He is affordable, focused, sweet and very knowledgable.
I will use him in the future for all my electrical needs. His next job will involve putting in a ceiling light in my son's room. Can't wait!
He is also a family man, has manners and a great assistant.
