This was the best experience I have had with an electrician. They were on time and upfront with the costs. They installed the three bathroom fan light combination units very processionally. There was quite a bit of work that needed to be done to get the units to fit but it was no problem for them. I will be using Trujillo Electric for all my electrical repairs or updates. I highly recommend them.

Agree with 1/24/21 reviewer. Employee technicians were diligent and respectful. But owner is like that bully from high school who wondered why no one likes him. Get ready to pay $100 for things like ""remote control battery"" and then be threatened when you ask about it. Treat clients as you would want to be treated and they'll hire you again and again. Do the opposite and your business will dry up fast. For electrical work, look elsewhere.

Good electrical work

I had electrical done at my house and David said my job required two licensed electricians at 95$ per hour. He said that he would personally be there for the job. The night before I texted him to confirm that he would be there and he did not respond. I called him the next morning at the agreed upon start time (7am) and he said his guy was running late, David never showed up. According to my home security cameras, the first electrician showed up after 8:30 and almost had the entire job done by around 9:40am when the second electrician showed up. The second electrician handed over a few lightbulbs, which does not require an apprenticeship or license. After they finished, I asked to get a quote on how much a job would cost me and to fix two outlets.

Shady Billing: I was charged 6 hours at 95$ per hour for:

the main job which was essentially done by one person in an hour and ten minutes
Two outlets which took approximately 30 mins
A quote ( usually free of charge) at one point I had two licensed electricians looking at the job, is this standard practice? No.
Waiting for David to call me with a quote

Terrible Customer Service: When I called David to ask him to reconsider the charges, he told me it sounds like I just want a discount. No, I will happily pay what is fair and agreed upon. This does not accurately describe how truly awful he was over the phone.

Bully Tactics: After requesting him to review with his team on the time it took to do the job, instead of a call back, I received a PRELIMINARY NOTICE from Construction Notice Services threatening to take my house away less than 30 days after services were rendered.

This is all too bad because the first electrician did a nice job.

We were having major electrical headaches in our home... typical of an older home. David and his team were able to come out quickly and get straight to work. Not only did they fix our mystery short issues, they provided recommendations on how to prevent further issues plus some ideas for maintenance. Very reasonable and very professional. Thank you!

David was very responsive and professional. He was on time and worked efficiently. We had a poor electrical outlet install that had a melted wire that was causing faulty switches and outlets throughout the garage. He cleaned out some poor wiring and switches and reinstalled safer wall outlets throughout the garage, inspected our breaker box, and gave us a competitive quote for running a new electrical line to the garage. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and I would recommend.

Lost power to part of the house during my children's final exams week. Reached out to 5 different electricians on Yelp (of 4 1/2 stars or higher). David was the only one who responded quickly and was available. I cannot say enough nice things about David and his work. He was patient, diligent, competent, and extremely polite. He got the bottom of what was a very tedious and difficult to find problem, put everything back together, all within 2 hours. It is amazing to watch him work. Oh, and he was extremely sociable while doing his work. I will definitely reach out to David for all future electric needs. I highly recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.

Terrific service! I had scheduled the work we needed done but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to reschedule. David was very accommodating and the work was completed a few days later.

This was a troubleshooting job, with intermittent power to several outlets. The electrician, Jack, was very thorough and yet still very quickly found and fixed the problem. Which made the trip charge come in a little under the estimate. Wow!

We have found our electrical contractor and will use Trujillo Electric when we have installation or repair needs. I highly recommend them!

I was referred to David for the electrical job I needed. David was great with suggestions and follow up on scheduling the job. David and his team ( Jack and Ryan) arrived on time and went everything they were going to do. David also addressed the possible alternatives to the job that were unknown due to the placement of one of my chandeliers.
Jack and Ryan were very clean and they did a phenomenal job! Recessed lighting was installed in very high ceilings, a chandelier was removed and replaced with a very heavy one, and a foyer chandelier was hung.
I would highly recommend Trujillo Electric and will highly recommend and use them again.
