Hi there! My name is Aaron, the owner of True Light Electric. I am a licensed electrician with more than 15 years of expertise in both electrical work, my wife and I operate this business and serve the greater El Dorado County area. Customers often tell me that they value my clear communication when tackling issues or troubleshooting situations. Although I’m a entrepreneur, I’m also human—I recognize the financial limitations that come with decisions about upgrades and remodels. My approach with making sure you are securely up to code, and then I will collaborate with you based on what works your financial plan. I’m also happy to consult new home buyers on which improvements are necessary for security, compared to those that can wait.

In 2016, we started the company in Southern California, where we were living at the moment. Using little advertising other than word of mouth, the business grew rapidly, and I soon had more work than I could manage! In 2018, we took an occupational detour and relocated to Placerville, where I worked as a Camp Director. I obtained my C-10 electrical contractor's license in 2019, and I have kept all my certifications current, but it wasn’t until this year that I decided to reopen True Light Electric to serve the entire EDC region (which is why there are currently no reviews—previous reviews from San Diego couldn’t be transferred due to Yelp's policies). I’m proud in supporting the local community, and I’m looking forward to working here in El Dorado County.
