This sounds silly but I picked Lou because he has a friendly face. But it turned out he was an excellent choice. I had a rush job to get a new wall outlet to connect the blower unit on my new wood insert. The inspector was coming and I was worried about a failed inspection if the blower could not be operated without a long extension cord (a trip hazard in any case). Lou installed the new outlet very cleanly and quickly. I have had other electricians who were sloppy with the drywall, but not Lou. I highly recommend him.

Lou changed out four light fixtures at our Truckee home. He added junction boxes required for these particular fixtures, and he did a beautiful job. He was also kind enough to give me advice on how to use a power adapter cord and outlet configuration for installing an overhead range hood. His pricing is also upfront and very reasonable, and he was right on the scheduled time.

Lou is terrific. Over the Christmas/New Year's holiday we somehow managed to blow out all of the electrical circuits in our living room and kitchen. Despite the holiday schedule, Lou made it out the next day for the repair. When we had a minor follow up issue a week later, Lou came right out and fixed it free of charge. Lou is very responsive and his rates are very reasonable. Outstanding! We would definitely use Lou again.
