As the repairs were just completed recently, I can't speak to their reliability just yet. I will adjust my rating depending on how things go in the future. They were very responsive, and very professional upon arrival. They attempted to diagnose the issue, but due to its intermittent nature, they decided that it was necessary to replace ALL of the outlets and switches connected to the affected circuit breaker. Then, the technicians went out to their truck for ~15 minutes before they came back with an estimate. As repair pricing of this type can seem to be like a black box, (especially if you haven't had similar repairs in the past), I'll share my charges and you can decide whether it was a good deal or not:
$1,698 to:
'Rejuvenate' ~16 existing switches and outlets (1 MBR, 2 BA, and hallway)
Replace one circuit breaker
2 year parts and labor warranty

So, basically ~$100 for each switch/outlet.

Absolute con artists!
Needed to get a gfci receptacle replaced. The guy came out, looked in our panel box and told my girlfriend that he couldn't do ANYTHING until the WHOLE PANEL BOX WAS REPLACED. To the tune of $8000!!! WTF???
Talked to two other ELECTRICIANS and they were baffled by what we were told. One of them replaced the gfci receptacle fot $107 and everything is working great.
I personally feel like they were trying to take advantage of a woman since I wasn't there when they came and my girlfriend had to deal with it.
I would definitely steer clear of Tru-Line Electric!!!

needed quote for generator hookup and was told it was a free quote; they came out to review the job; told me I needed a whole new panel for LOTS of money; like double what others quoted me AND they charged me a $49 fee to come look at my system - none of the other electricians charged me a fee. That tactic just lost them the sale (along with the fact that their quote was twice as much as anyone else). Would NOT recommend!!!

Damian and Walter did an AHmazing job on my house. I requested to add 9 new outlets, open and close existing ones, and update them all since my house was over 100 years old. They were knowledgeable and made sure I understood their answers when I asked questions. They were super friendly and cleaned up as they went. I would recommend them to any one that needs any electrical work.

Damian, Diego, Walter, Kyle we're excellent. They answered all of my questions, we're very understanding with my lack of knowledge and went above any beyond. I have never hired a contractor that has worked at this level. I can only give five stars, I would give six.

The worst experience I had since I've moved to this area. So unprofessional. The worst ever.
The service manager called me and begged me to continue with their service tech. I said no because I don't like liars. The point here is this business is not getting my money. I choose to go with a more responsible company.

I can't even give 1 star. Called to install a dimmer switch. Ordinarily a 5 minute $60 job at best.
However, this company views customers as marks for upselling before they do any work. My guy wouldn't touch the dimmer before opening and taking apart my fuse box trying to upsell whole house rewiring.
Also went outside to inspect breaker box, again dire warnings of upgrades needed.
Then, he went to his truck and sat 45 minutes writing estimates. Comes back with $36k to rewire.
I asked how much to install the dimmer I called about: $650.
I had to pay $50 for a service fee just to get him out of the house. He never did install the dimmer.
UPDATED RESPONSE TO BUSINESS OWNER:
Because of your visit, I hired another licensed certified electrician to inspect my South Tampa house. He reported no problems with anything identified as faulty by your technician, and no immediate need to replace cloth wiring unless it ever becomes an issue during future resale. He also installed the dimmer for free. 3 minutes.

We have used this company many times and have always been very pleased with the service and the staff, reasonably priced for the repairs that were done, would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic service. They were on time and knowledgeable. Took the time to explain the problem, ways to fix it and the applicable code requirements. When the work was done, they even cleaned up the dirt and trash that was not theirs.

It's never fun to need an electrician but when I do, I'm calling Tru-Line. They earned my loyalty.
