I wanted several electrical services,in my 1976 home. Placement of wiring and placement of 3 ceiling lights to wall switches. A ceiling fan installed on a sloped ceiling and wired to wall switch. Another ceiling fan replaced and several outlets changed d/t not holding plugs. These guys are professional, courteous and friendly. We agreed on a price which I feel was competitive. I asked a lot of questions which were answered in detail and with patience. I was advised about electrical safety and the reason I shouldn't bend plugs to stay in sockets. ( It can disrupt the electrical flow and cause an arch, which can cause a fire.) I had outlets that had burns on them. We discussed the different type of bulbs and the cost to run them. I was instructed how to use my ceiling fan remotes. (because I insisted they also be connected to wall switches,) how to save the remote sensors from being harmed. We also discussed Edisons tier program and how led lights use much less electricity, while giving out more lumens but using less wattage and they run cooler. They also took a look at my pool lights per my request. I learned a lot from them.
I am so happy that they ""brought light into my life"" and educated me about electrical safety.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality and reasonable electrical work.
I will definitely use them for any future needs.

To a real estate investor or a home owner Trout is a huge asset, they have stablished an impeccable relationship with city and county inspectors. Good service. The guy who took my appointment was easy to Deal With and the service guy did a super efficient job. I understand electric work is expensive but I am removing 1 star because of the systemic high and fluctuating pricing commonly seen in electric, plumbing etc. As for this place. I say go for it I dunno. Who am I? I am a food critic afterall.

Gentleman arrived on time just as planned. They were knowledgeable, friendly and went straight to the problem. They were very professional, fixed the issue and cleaned up after themselves well. Two thumbs up. Will definitely call again if there are any issues. Thanks guys, you're the best.

I rarely write yelp reviews, but for something really good, i dont mind spending time to write one. Earlier this evening, our fuse overloaded and we dreaded the possibility of not having power all night especially when we have an 11 month old baby. Spoke to Matt and he was able to send Gil to help us. Scheduled time was 10pm but Gil came around 9pm. He was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and easy to talk to. I mean, i always had doubts about some companies trying to get more money out of their clients, but I could tell that these guys are not one of those. They're legit, the real deal and our life saver. I highly recommend this company and their services.

Believe the hype. Trout is amazing. I called Mike in a panic yesterday afternoon due to an outlet that was smoking and sizzling in my kitchen and on the other side of the wall in my daughter's room. He explained that he and his team were totally booked all night but that he would send out a guy first thing in the morning. In the meantime, to ensure our safety, he walked my husband and I through all the steps to make sure the power was completely shut off in that area so that we would be perfectly okay until our appointment. He even had us send him pictures so he could gauge how serious the problem was, which he did not have to do. Luckily it wasn't a true emergency and could wait until morning. Garret and his partner showed up right on time this morning and they were able to fix the issue quickly and for a very reasonable price. They were polite and explained in detail what the problem was and how they were going to fix it. These guys know what they're doing and they provide such excellent customer service. You can tell they truly care about their customers. So glad I called them!
