**Clear communication & streamlined scheduling**
I exchanged a few emails with Matt so that he could better understand the work, and his responses were very polite and prompt. We decided to proceed with the job, and the next day a kind representative called to schedule an appointment. I was in no rush to get the job done since I wanted to get quality work, as well as my location being outside their usual service zone, so my appointment was scheduled several weeks out. I received a call two days before to quickly review and confirm, and a text the day before to remind me of the appointment. Both of which I really appreciated.

**Quality Work**
Matt, and his partner, Matt, arrived within the appointment window. I needed a NEMA 1450 installed to charge my Tesla, and they were very knowledgable on what needed to be done. They clearly shared the plan of action and promptly finished the work in half the quoted time. After, they did an inspection of my electric panel, and identified errors from the previous electrician. Before proceeding, they provided options, and raised any potential risks, to fix the issues. I have had dozens of contractors visit my home, and Trout Electric is by far the best service professional I have encountered.

**Fair Pricing**
In my particular case, Matt found ways to lower my bill without sacrificing service and quality. For example, he found existing conduit that sufficed to get the job done, saving time, money, and headaches. With Trout Electric's honest, cost-saving approach, the final bill was a fraction of competitors' pricing and well within my expectations.

Guys were just here to do my hall lighting, it was a really tedious job, with the location of the stairs and everything. They were very nice and professional. My knowledge of electricity is limited to Ohm's law and theoretical tensor mathematics... enough to stay out of trouble and lead to the prudent decision to hire a real electrician.

I needed to get a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed. We had Trout over for a quote. Apparently they had us marked and we had sucker written on our forehead.

They quoted $1040+, permit included. Mind you, the electrical panel is immediately behind the wall.

With a little effort I found a quote about $400 cheaper from a c-10 licensed electrician who did a kick@ss job.

Granted, this is a free market and they can charge what ever they want. But I don't have time for nonsense or time to waste on high ballers or contractors with Golden Screwdriver Syndrome.

This is the best, most professional electric company I have seen in a while. Their staff definitely knows their stuff. I had them install a Tesla Wall Charger. No wonder their Tesla's number 1 company. They came highly recommended by Tesla. They were right. They listened to my endless questions about their services. Once I felt comfortable with it, they provided prompt and friendly service. They even discounted my job by 10% when i mentioned yelp. Go with this organization. You will not be disappointed. They even warranty their work for a year!!!
