So glad we came across Trout on Yelp!
My fiancé and I were very pleased with the exceptional service. Garrett and his partner came by to give us a quote for a 240V. They were professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Assisted in searching for the appropriate car charger.
Installation took about half an hour. Garrett offered to come back and mount our charger for us at a later time, as we did not receive the screws with our charger initially.

I would definitely recommend Trout Electric for all your Electric needs!

Ok why I didnt make this call eariler is beyond me. Mostly because everytime I need a plumber or electrician we get royally screwed. But nope not this time. This time Trout is going into my speed dial. Namely Gil and Scott. Holy crapballs these two were like wizards. First off my pet peeve is service people not being on time. My time is valuable but Gil n Scott.....right on time AND a courtesy call before they showed up which was early in my time frame. They are super courteous and really careful with my vintage fixtures which no one else seems to give two craps about. They went above and beyond and Ive gotta say in todays world I truely appreciate it because thats a rarity. If I need electrical work again and can request my workers it would be Gil n Scott they really are the two best things since sliced bread! Highly recommend!!

Couldn't be happier. Very professional. They answered the phone right away, in fact, I got the owner of the company the first time I called. Super nice guy. The electrical technicians that came to my house, Gil and Scott, were professional and knowledgeable. They treated me like family. I could tell that they were genuinely interested in making sure they did the job exactly to my liking. They replaced 2 ceiling fans, installed a new ceiling fan, replaced a chandelier, installed electrical/charging outlets next to my bed at bed height. They also did miscellaneous small electrical fixes. I'm glad I used this highly rated electrician. It doesn't pay to use anything less. Thanks guys for a job well done!

I saw their nice looking vehicle in my neighborhood so I thought I would give them a try. Garrett stopped by on time, and jumped right into troubleshooting my door bell that for some reason was not getting power to my Ring Video Doorbell system. He and another employee didn't stop until the problem was solved - even calling Ring support to make sure it was working properly. The pricing was great and the service was amazing. Would definitely recommend, and I will be using them from now on.

I called to make an appointment and Gil & Scott showed up that same day within 30 mins of me calling. The price was fair and they were very nice and fixed the problem in a little over an hour!

Impeccable work, great customer service & very very punctual! Gil & Scott rang the doorbell 10 min before our consultation appointment & a couple of hours before the installation appointment, ready to do the permanent install instead of just the temporary fix. Only talked to Matt on the phone but I am amazed @ how well & swift they got things done, including the meter spot (although it helped that already got In touch with Edison before I even called them) & getting the city permit. Their price was not the lowest but also not the highest- very competitive! Really happy with their work!

Update from previous review.... some how the owner contacted my husband concerning a review that was written (negatively).... they got to talking and my husband explained why we were so turned OFF by their service... to make a LONG story short, owner mailed us a check for the troubleshooting charge ($199.00). I was so amazed and truly impressed on what outstanding customer service he provided!!! He is a true MAN of his word and I can respect how hard he is trying to keep a good reputation.... if you are looking for an electrician contact the owner you will not be disappointed!!!!!

Gil and Scott from Trout Electric showed up exactly on time and were very friendly! They helped install a 240V outlet in my garage and also mounted the electric car charger. They provided a more than fair quote and I look forward to using their services again in the future for my next EV charger installation in my garage.
