Our lights where flickering and power was in and out. I went to yelp and messaged for a quote. Trout responded (on super bowl Sunday none the less) and a technician was out the next day. They diagnosed the problem quickly and ended up we needed an entire new panel and upgrade. They stayed until the job was done (7pm) and we were more than happy with the work and employees. I can't speak for price as we didn't quote it out but as far as promptness and professionalism, 5 stars no doubt. Thanks guys!!

Matt, owner answered my quote request on a Sunday!! Team installed my new home car charger with provisions for adding an additional charger when needed. Most of all, Katie who handles permit paperwork, went the extra mile and made my appointment, when l called the office. the OC inspection request now must be done on line rather than just calling for an appointment !! That website is just awful. Thank you Katie

Working with Trout was like a textbook case of professional, reasonable, friendly interaction.
A pleasant-sounding lady answered my first call and scheduled an estimate visit, which was free of charge. At the scheduled time, Mark Going and Colin came, discussed my need (to install a porch light fixture), explained exactly what the job would entail, and gave me an estimate. It was exactly the same as other ones I had received via phone calls, but they took the trouble to preview the work in person. The estimate was certainly reasonable. We scheduled a time to perform the work.

A day before the scheduled time I received a verification call from the office. Mark and Colin came on time, performed the work very quickly and efficiently, had all the parts and tools required, and didn't mind the fact the I hung around asking them questions--such conversations with professionals are an excellent opportunity to learn. After completing the work they cleaned the area (they had a vacuum cleaner, along with the other tools), and left the place looking exactly as they had found it.

The whole experience, from beginning to end, proceeded the way one hopes such experience would proceed. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured to buy extra equipment or services that I didn't need. At no point did I feel uncertain about their expertise or the information they provided.

Very professional, and they go beyond to have a perfect job done. Owner is wonderful and the employees very friendly. The initial person we had our estimate with was Mark and he explained everything to us, and was very patient with all my husbands and my questions.

I needed to have my RING Doorbell replaced. Camera failed. Out of warranty and added a new surveillance camera. 2 days before my appointment someone called to verify my appointment and provided me with the name of the electrician assigned to the job. My appointment was between 11 - 1. Mark showed up at 10 minutes to 11. He was very polite and listened to what I needed done. He made a few recommendations and had the camera installed and programmed within an hour from the start of installation. It took a bit longer for the RING DOORBELL. Overall I was pleased with the job and will use TROUT ELECTRIC again. The prices are fair and the employees professional and reliable.
The owner, Matt, contacted me today to follow up on the service I was provided last week. To say the least, I was floored. Trout Electric goes above & beyond to earn your business. Nice

I had to call TROUT ELECTRIC again because one of the overhead lights in a bathroom went out. After replacing the bulb and other troubleshooting efforts it was time to call in a professional. The lady who answered the phone was very pleasant. She arranged for Matt to come over this afternoon between 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Matt showed up shortly after 1:00 identified the problem and replaced the fixture in less than 1/2 hour.

Trout rewired our older home. Attic caught fire because of electrical short from old wiring. Scott and his crew had to rewire 2100. Sq. Ft. home. Job completed in 7 days. Trout crew did a great job. Very happy with job.

I wish I could give Trout Electric 1000 stars. They were by far one of the best companies I've ever had to do business with. Scott & Dalton were AWESOME! We bought a new house and had to replace our electrical panel in preparation for eventually installing a second AC unit upstairs. Since we were doing that we decided to do all of the other stuff on our ""wish"" list - replaced all of the light switches/dimmers, replaced all of of the outside lights (8), replaced exhaust fans in all bathrooms, and had ceiling fans installed in all of the bedrooms (there were no existing ceiling light fixtures so they had to do everything associated with that). Pretty sure we had a few other things done as well but can't think of it at the moment. From the second Scott and Dalton showed up to quote the job, I was super happy and impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. When they were out quoting the job, I asked a couple of other questions related to the pool lighting that stopped working two days after escrow closed and the pool equipment. They took a look and fixed it right then and there and showed us what the problem was. We told them we had a couple of other companies coming out to quote the job but would be in touch. We called them like 30 minutes after they left and scheduled the work. Even if we hadn't had two previous and terrible companies come out and quote us, we probably still would have instantly called them back. Seriously, we spent a small fortune overall on this job but I couldn't be happier. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST HAVE THEM COME QUOTE YOUR JOB. You won't regret it!
