The folks at Trident are very polite and professional. They are probably good at standard electrical work. DO NOT use them for any generator installs or warranty work. NONE of their technicians are competent or qualified to troubleshoot or work on Generac generators. They charged me a service call to troubleshoot a recently installed generator under warranty. The technician had no clue what was wrong (I learned more from an online forum than this technician knew; he was nice but literally clueless on the generator issue.)

I paid for additional upgrades with Trident at that time to ensure the generator complied with Generac guidelines for warranty purposes (a larger gas line..$900.00). After being strung along for several weeks, they contacted me to tell me they are NOT AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR GENERAC WARRANTY WORK. THEY ARE ONLY AUTHORIZED INSTALLERS, NOT WARRANTY AUTHORIZED. I don't understand how this could be so. I asked how then could they warranty their own installs. The owner stated he didn't know and would check on that.

To the owner's credit, he referred me to another electrician company, Chandler Electric, who might be able to do the warranty work. Chandler was amazing. I can't recommend them strongly enough for generators.

Before leaving this feedback, I left a message for the owner of Trident, Robert, to address this issue. I received no response. Trident may have good electricians, but RUN, don't walk, away from them for generator work with Generac units.

I have used Trident before and was pleased with service I got from this Veteran-owned company.

I live in a mobile home that was built in the 60s - long before the era of the Internet and all of the appliances needing electricity!! So when we started having rain in early December, my computer kept dropping out while on the phone with my clients and so I thought something was wrong with my computer. So....I took it to be repaired. Diagnosis: nothing wrong.

Then the furnace started acting up - blowing hot and cold air; lights blinking off and on every time the furnace went off or on. So, the Friday before the New Year, I had the furnace guy out. After a thorough diagnostic exam, he determined that the furnace was in fine shape and not the cause of my electrical problems. He suggested that I get an electrician. And so promptly at 8 am on Tuesday, Chris showed up to check on everything electrical. By the end of his diagnostics, he had proof that the problem was coming from the mobile park and he got the Park to bring in their electrician to discuss the problems.

I am sorry to report the Park ""handy men"" and the contacted electrician were less than hospitable when talking to the Trident man, who was calm and respectful.

To bring a long story to an end, three full days later - in spite of the lack of assistance from the Park and the disdainful way the Park and their contractor was toward the Trident electricians, they continued to be polite and professional throughout and Blake, Trident Manager, vowed to get me squared away. By Thursday, Bent was joined by Troy and they spent the day working to find both the cause and the way to resolve my problem. Though they could have turned the power on to get me through the night, their concern was for my safety because of the risk of fire. I went to my daughter's for the night and returned on Friday morning, today.

Today, my four heroes arrived - Blake, Chris, Troy, and Raymond arrived. It took them twice as long as they thought it would, but, when they left, I had power, heat and the ability to use my work and continue to live my life.

I am 81 years old and have, in recent years, found a dwindling sense of the meaning of service - especially among the young. However, these young men renewed my faith in the young in our country - their work ethic and desire to solve complex problems without giving up.

If you have a need for electrical services, I strongly suggest that you contact Trident. I can't say enough about how great I think this company and its' employees are.

I used Trident Electric three times and had lights installed and a ceiling fan and bathroom exhaust, and lights fixed. Justin and Omar were early every time and pleasant to be around. They vacuumed and cleaned up afterwards and the prices were fair. I will be calling them again and highly recommend.
