Company Overview

I want to emphasize the various differences that set our cooperative apart and investor-owned utilities. You may not realize that our members are granted an authentic Bill of Rights which encompasses the right to obtain dependable, affordable, and safe electric power and the right to collaborate to create and manage a community-focused electric utility. Within a cooperative framework, each customer receive just and equal treatment. This is accomplished through the efforts of our management and team, but also by a Board of Trustees selected by our members. This represents the pinnacle of consumer security. Furthermore, cooperatives adhere to a set of seven principles that provide members receive fair attention from the utility they support. The principles encompass fairness, open access, member control, independence, education, training, and information, including collaboration among cooperatives that enables the power of collective efforts to be utilized for the benefit of our cooperative members. The final principle emphasizes community support. Although cooperatives place members first, they consistently work to improving the communities they support.
