They came and did a complimentary estimate walkthrough and reviewed the scope of electrical work. We had a very specific list of the items we wanted done. That all seemed to go well and off to a good start. However, the estimate came days later and was full of generic tasks that did not correlate to the specific items that we needed. I followed up several times with the main office requesting for the quote to be revised to accurately reflect the work we discussed. They said someone would follow up with me, but the only follow up I got was an automated message. Very frustrating, inefficient, and unhelpful. I will go look elsewhere for an electrician.

Sight unseen, Tom decides I need a new breaker panel. $$$$. I asked for a quote to replace a breaker. It reminds me of the tree trimmer that came out and refused to trim my tree. He said it had to be removed. At least he came out.

I highly recommend this contractor. They were transparent and plain spoken from the very first conversation over the phone. They were easy to speak with and were clear about possible outcomes and options. They provided excellent communication about availability and time frames. They were also very reasonably priced. In our case, we needed to have more wiring added in to a line that wasn't installed correctly the first time. In our conversation, the representative had a sense of my experience with electrical and even suggested I could probably fix it myself and he clarified what kind of solution met code and what did not. That said, their pricing was reasonable and there was a chance the repair could be beyond my capability, therefore I schedule them for a repair. They did exactly what they indicated they would do. Before deciding to go with Tradesman I had spoken with two other contractors and reached out to a few others. The other contractors seemed to have a higher price point and were not as transparent about how they would fix the repair and their cost estimates were almost double that of Tradesman.

I really like these guys. They showed up when they said they would. They tackled a complex issue and didn't just give up. They sent three different techs out until it was fixed. And they didn't overcharge when they easily could have.

I thought of writing this right now because I'm about to call them out again for a different issue and I thought everyone should know that there is a reliable, team of electricians in south OC!

I had Tradesman come out and install 3 additional outlets in new locations in our home. The technicians, Carl and Ricardo, were kind, efficient, thorough, clean, careful and quick. Got all the work done quickly and did a great job navigating around our little family. Recommended.

We suddenly lost power to several outlets in our home and needed quick response. From my initial call right up through the successful repair today of our myriad electrical problems, we were 100% pleased and grateful that we went with this ""unknown"" company based solely on the excellent Yelp reviews. Communication was clear, they were extremely responsive, they arrived on time and worked quickly, their prices were very fair, and (sorry, but this is important to me) they genuinely made us feel like they enjoyed helping us. Reese, Carl and his team explained everything clearly without dumbing it down (well, I suppose they probably did have to dumb it down - but they didn't make me feel dumb) and it was clear that they had an understanding of the electrical problem(s) as well as an extensive knowledge of the various options to fix them. Will most definitely call them for future needs.

I was looking to have an EV charger installed and went on Yelp looking for an electrician. I received about 5 responses and Tradesman was not the least expensive nor the most expensive, but was very competitive. I decided to chose them based on their responsiveness and customer service during the initial process.

I scheduled the appointment and Matt & Ricardo arrived at the agreed upon time. The whole time they were very professional and knowledgeable about what they were doing. They completed the install of the receptacle and helped to install the actual charger so it could be checked out before they left. Overall a great experience and highly recommended,

Spoke with rep at Tradesman on 7/16/22 and was told the estimate fee is $287 despite ad saying ""free estimates"" on Yelp.
Explanation was given that an ""estimate"" is not for current work but for work in the ""future"" apart from what needs fixing now.

They were quick to respond and showed up on time. The estimated was inline with other companies in the area. The follow through customer service was great. Would recommend.

I am a Realtor from Northern California who moved here in January and bought a house in San Clemente and the first item on the list was to replace the Zinsco electrical panel that was recalled 20 years ago. If anyone has one of these call these guys before your house burns down. I have come across these panels many times and always recommend buyers replace them. They were on time, professional and did great work for a fair price. I will be calling them for more work and will request the same group that came out today.
