Was referred to Total Electric by our home warranty company. Peter came out to inspect an electrical issue in our recessed lighting in the ceiling that was affecting our outlets and tripping the circut. Looked around for a few minutes and seemed to make up his mind on the issue without a full inspection. He then lied to the home warranty company, telling them it was a light fixture issue that he knew would not be covered probably because it would be too much effort to fix it. If you are facing a complicated electrical issue and considering having Total Electric via the home warrranty fix it, I would save your money for a competent electrician because it seems like a total scam.

Total hack. Came to our house to help fix three outlets that weren't working. By the time he left 9 outlets weren't working including all in our master bedroom. I called him and asked him to come back and at least fix the outlets that had been working before his visit and he totally blew me off. Then, he lied to the warranty company and said the condition was pre-existing so that he wouldn't have to come back and fix the mess he made. Now I'm paying another electrician to fix the mess he made. Please look at the BBB complaints and reviews on other websites. These are not competent or honest electricians. AVOID AT ALL COST

Acerbic owner did not perform key portions of the job & did not respond to phone calls; voice messages nor text messages. He did change out one light switch but that was only one part of the job. Can't recommend a non-responsive service technician. Sad as I actually liked Ted.

I feel like we got lucky that Total Electric was the company assigned to us by our home warranty service. Peter and Taylor were thorough, kind, and fixed all the issues that needed to be addressed. If we encounter any more electrical issues in the future I will definitely reach out to them first.

Called my home warranty service this morning to deal with a loss of power to all the outlets in my offices. My experience with home warranty services is inconsistent. Sometimes they assign someone who is terrible or forgets to call and sometimes they assign someone who calls and solves the problem. They sent Pete today from Total Electric and he was GREAT. He called early in the afternoon, asked if we would be home and arrived 20 minutes later. He sorted out the problem in about 20 minutes and found the culprit was a tripped solar panel breaker. Pete displayed all the qualities I want in a professional service provider. He was pleasant, quick, efficient and methodical. I highly recommend Total Electric without any reservation.

I STRONGLY recommend Peter with Total Electric. He was assigned to me by my home warranty provider. Having dealt with other warranty providers in the past I was a little trepidatious at first but that turned around within 30 seconds of meeting Peter. He was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely cared about me, and resolving my electrical issue the correct way. I was so impressed with his work I made a wish list for every other electrical project I could think of for my new home and look forward to having him get started in the coming days. On his ratings, know that as a warranty provider he can be unfairly rated when a customer is unhappy with their warranty provider's coverage or policies - this is not on Peter. You won't regret hiring him for any of your electrical needs!

Peter at Total Electric worked on an electrical issue for me, and had to re-run a substantial amount of wiring from the panel to the furnace. This was a tough job since it was complicated by approval requirements from the HOA and our home warranty company. Peter gave us great options, offered his advice and got the job done quickly. He has earned my business.

The home warranty company referred me to Total Electric as my well pump was not getting power. Noting the urgency, Peter arrived that same afternoon. He submitted request for repair authorization the next morning (Friday) and again on Monday. Having not heard back, he called me back and helped me navigate the BS bureaucracy of the home warranty authorization process.

The required repairs were more extensive than the warranty company would cover and I trusted Peter to do the job quickly and completely.
