On Saturday I popped a circuit breaker and couldn't get it to reset. I sent out a request on Yelp. I was pleasantly surprised at the fast, friendly response and straightforward pricing from Mike. It was a breeze setting up an appointment for first thing Monday morning.
Brad showed up right on time. He was very nice and professional. He thoroughly troubleshot my problem of no lights in about a quarter of my house. He repaired the issue with ease. He got my garage door opening and closing again and made sure everything was in good working order before he asked me to sign off the work.

TopTech was nothing but professional, courteous, and effective at scheduling, communication and complex troubleshooting. Absolute professionals- they had to do a complex installation for me, and they were able to resolve the challenges associated with various code requirements, ordering the CORRECT components the first time (love them for that) etc. They delivered, and made me happy. I am rating them 4 out of 5, simply because their costs are fairly high (they quoted me an exorbitant $ to only swap out a ceiling fan at a 15' height indoors, which I declined outside of the original job they were at my home for).

I chose them anyhow because of their quality of service, warranty, and the expert electrician staff. Would use again despite the higher cost- but be sure to understand the work you're doing clearly so you can work with them effectively from a cost perspective. Know what you can do yourself safely, and what you realize is best to pay a licensed/insured professional to accomplish- which will save you that heartache in the long run in case of a bad DIY job!

I have mostly a positive opinion of this service, but it was extremely expensive $400 to replace a breaker seems about twice what it should have been. On the positive, they were on time, friendly and even though they didnt have the part they found a vendor with the part and had everything fixed quickly

I'd originally left a rather lousy review based on a missed update to the hours for TopTech. Mike contacted me personally and made sure I got taken care of, and fixed the Hours Open listing to reflect the new business hours.

I contacted TopTech for a quote through Yelp and received responses from 4 other electricians along with a response from TopTech. Of the 5 responses, TopTech was the only one that refused to provide a quote for the services before a technician would come onsite. Further, they wanted to charge me a $55 fee just to have someone come out and provide that quote. I decided to go with a different electrician based on this strange tactic.

I had a Ring Solar panel, Ring Spotlight Cam (battery) and Ring Video Doorbell install. And Brian was really great! He provided me clear and understandable options for my install set up. After reviewing my doorbell set up Brian shared an additional accessory (mounting bracket) as well as my low DC output, which would not provide the desired end results.

He did set up the other two Ring items and was helpful to assist on placement and what would work for my area with the solar panel. In the end, both installed and provided me with my desired objective.

I was notified via text sharing the electrician was on their way to my home. Although, it had been over 45 minutes and no arrival. Upon calling to get an update, it was shared the driver maps app sent them to same address, different city. I can understand the error however a call to share the arrival delay would have been nice.

$228 to replace a faulty 15amp breaker is too high for a 2 min job. Part Cost is $75-$90. I identified the breaker needed to be replaced when I scheduled the appointment, but they would not provide an estimate. Estimate cost was $55 upon inspection which took less than a min. So since I was already in the hole for $55, I decided to get the breaker replaced by TopTech Electric. Electrician was great, but business practice needs to be revised for me to conduct future business with this company.

1/24/22 - update. Mike: I wish your business was just upfront about the cost of a single breaker replacement for an Eaton panel or at least provide a free estimate.

Recently moved into a townhome. The dryer outlet did not match my dryer. Technician arrived and assessed...and then got a different cord for my dryer and rewired it. Now I can dry my clothes!
