We recently had a panel upgrade with new conduits and wires installed earlier this year for our residential home, Feb 2016. My wife called last week, first week of September to explain to the manager (Bill) that we were informed from our home insurance company requiring us to replace or remove an old cloth wiring in our electrical panel that they seemingly missed. The manager asked for a picture to be sent and informed her that whoever did the job (their company) did not do the work correctly and that he will come out the following week to correct it WITH no charge; she reacts and says no charge? (Bill) YES! As promised, he arrives on time; while walking to the panel site outside, my wife refreshes his mind about his promise of no charge. He adamantly tells her, he has does not recall telling her that. After all the work was done, he hands her a bill of $110 in which she paid for.

We gladly would have paid for whatever the cost were but saying that it would be of no charge for the work...hmm..I looked over the receipt that was handed over later that day, on the bottom left hand corner states a guarantee of work for one year. Clearly, this is under one year, their honor system is lacking in that department. If you decide to give these guys at Top Notch Electric a chance, good luck.
