Same review left on Google bc they kept hounding me via text and email.
Perhaps people giving good reviews aren't getting comparative quotes or are doing some very small jobs because the estimates received were outrageous.
Work asked for install chandelier, change 4 recessed lights to modern recessed lights, install outlet outside to light trees and install 220v outlet in the kitchen.
I spoke with 4 companies in addition to Top Flight Electric. Top Flight was multiple thousands more than the other quotes received. Top Flight sends 3 estimates, the ""Piece of Mind"" most expensive estimate was extremely laughable because the they may as well be re-wiring my entire 4k sqft house and the neighbors house.
Absolutely would not recommend.

I caller Top Flight electrical for installation of a Gentrac Generator. Reggae showed up followed by Daniel. They got right to work. You know that someone knows what they're doing, because they never pickup the installation manual! These two guys work throughout the day in 95° weather and did an awesome job on the installation of the transfer switch and the generator. I would highly recommend top-flight electrical for your next electrical problem..

Got a quote for a new panel they wanted $5000 to do it. Had it done by another company $1300 with the savings was able to buy a golf cart

So I called a few places to handle an outage of my outside power outlets. Some quoted a $200-250 charge just to show up. When I called Top Flight, I was quoted a $49 service charge which seemed reasonable. When the tech arrived, before looking at anything to determine the extent of the problem, I was advised that it would be $409 for him to do anything but that it would fix the problem. Because I needed the outlets functioning for Xmas lights, I figured the business model was sleazy but it would fix the problem. The tech spent several hours trying every socket outside and inside the house and then said he was able to do a temporary fix but it would be $1700 to fix the problem and run a wire about 10 feet from the CGI socket to the breaker panel. I told him it wasn't going to happen and 10 minutes after he left the sockets went out again. Stay away from this place

These guys do not stand behind their work!! Came out diagnosed our problem and fixed it (so we thought). Two months later all the wires were melting and we were without power for days. The entire panel was melted this time costing us even more money. They said that the couple wires they fixed looked good so the panel overheated and burning wasnt their fault and therefore would be additional money if we wanted them to fix it. Hmmm doesn't make sense. They obviously didn't fix it correctly in the first place and their misdiagnosis costs us thousands of dollars. Could have burnt our place to the ground. Oh and the best part is They don't work after 5 or on weekends so there isn't any emergency service. They aren't cheap nor competent apparently. Beware.

SCAM!!! We called them to fix 3 outlets and 1 overhead light. They gave us an estimate for $2,700. which did not fix the problems they were called for. They wanted to put surge protectors on our HVAC. The clincher was over $500. to replace the outlets, not fix the problem. When I told him I would not pay that for a $5. part and 5 minutes of work. He then tried to justify the cost by telling me the part was $23. Unbelievable! Don't waste your time and money!!!

There is nothing more aggravating than waiting a week to get top flight electric to come fix some electrical issues and then one hour before they were to be at my house I get a call saying they won't be there after waiting a week and then 4 hour window you must wait for them to show. This is what happens when they feel your job is not a big job to them so they bump you to reschedule and waste more of your time. So I went with another electrician in town and they were here the next day and a great job. I called them back for a second job three weeks later. I can only afford to have small jobs done at a time. Some electrician company's don't want small jobs so this is what they do. Stay away from tv advertising company's because I always have problems with them ??. Ask around to neighbors for plumbers or electricians who they like and trust.

We came back from vacation after Ian and our lights were flickering. Called Top Flight and the electrician came out and said there was a big mess from the meter box which needed to be fixed. Over $5000 later we still had flickering lights. They told us to call TECO - I did and 3 hours later the problem was fixed free of charge. The second issue was the well pump kept tripping the breaker. After a second large trip charge the estimate to run new wire from the breaker box to the pump was $6000 and they couldn't guarantee that it wasn't the pump. We then had the well people come out. The pump was fried so replaced that but they didn't want to hook it up until the electrical was fixed. So, $3700 for a new pump and $480 of electrical and we are back in business. We truly feel like we got screwed.

I contacted Top Flight Electric to give me an estimate on installing lights and surveillance cameras at my home along with a light fixture repair. Service charge was $49. Two men showed up and listened to my requests. They then proceeded to suggest other work that had nothing to do with my reason for their being at my place, things such as refurbishing my electrical panel, installing arc fault breakers, and more. The estimate for what I called them out for? I never got one, though I asked for it. Their suggested work came to $6,393.95. Will I ever call top Flight Electric again? Take a guess. By the way, I'm 80+ years old. I made that known to them. Is this attempted elder financial exploitation?

Nathan and Diego did a fantastic job. Professional and personable. Installed 6 ceiling fans, 2 coach lights, relocated hanging light fixture, and installed an electrical outlet on the patio. Great job. Highly recommend Top Flight Electric.
