10 out of 10 stars! Called Tomei Electric regarding a bothersome smoke detector beeping I could not solve. The company reached out promptly and took care of the issue the same day.

What is more impressive is that Todd spent about 10 minutes on the phone and gave me pointers and advice on how to resolve the issue myself to save me money before he went out.

What a breath of fresh air, a company that goes above and beyond to save you money. Second to none electrical service. In short, I will not call anyone else than Tomei Electric--Todd has earned me as a customer for life.

I needed to replace the fluorescent fixture in my laundry room with a better light source, move a ceiling fan from my office to my bedroom, and install a new ceiling fan in my office. Todd at Tomei Electric replaced the laundry room light with an LED panel, moved the ceiling fan to my bedroom, and assembled and installed the new ceiling fan in my office for a very reasonable price. He was punctual, friendly, responsive, and obviously an expert electrician. Highly recommend!

For anyone needing a master electrician, I absolutely recommend Todd S. of Tomei Electric (512 893 9715). He diagnosed and fixed the problem with my fluorescent fixture in under 15 minutes, explained what he had done, and answered a few questions for my future reference. Additionally, it's well worth noting he was right on time, and is hands down the politest electrician (or skilled contractor) I ever met.

Todd professionally replaced an outdoor GFCI outlet that was damaged from power washing with a new weather proof outlet on very short notice and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.

Not only do I rate Todd and his son at 5 stars, I also give them an ""Above and Beyond"" award. I asked Todd and two other 5-star electricians for quotes to (1) run a 220 line for replacing my gas cooktop with an induction cooktop, and (2) installing an interface that would allow me to connect my generators to the house wiring in case of a power outage. Todd gave me a price for #1 which was competitive with the others.

Instead of simply giving me a quote for the interface, however, he asked for details on my equipment and pointed out some issues that would keep the interface from working like I had hoped. He even gave me a copy of his Generator Tutorial and took the time to answer my questions on other options such as going solar. The bottom line is that he put customer service above making a sale, unlike one other who gave me a quote without any apparent thought about whether or not the interface would achieve my goal. (The third company did not quote on either; they failed to call me on the day and time they had scheduled so I went no further with them.)

I don't know how much electrical work I might need in the future, but whatever it is, I will be asking Tomei Electric to do it.
