AWFUL STAFF, INVOICE SHOCKER and TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!
1. Their website claims they are #1 with reviews. Go to Yelp and they are absolutely not!
2. The $69 service fee and request to switch out 220V to 120V turned into a scamming appt and $469 invoice shocker for a $99 membership fee that wasn't verbally agreed and they had me sign what I thought was the quote estimate and it was the membership contract that basically doesn't warranty anything but their work after 1 year.
3. $404 sticker shock to downgrade 220V to 120V which could have been done with an adaptor for $15.
4. They sent 4 estimates one for 1150, 700, 404 and something else. All for things we never discussed or asked for.
5. They claimed their VIP $99 membership saves money...its only because they overcharge on the original price and its still overcharged with the $20 something off with the membership on each item.
6. We only asked for 220V to 120V and agreed to their overpriced service and $69 fee for a total of $445. They charged $465 and it included the $99 membership fee, $82 check of electrical box and overpriced services. They said we saved and I said no, we never signed up and agreed. They have you sign an ipad and it only shows the signature page and they tell you that you are signing what the original estimate was and that wasn't true!! They continually tried to upsell through their membership and we continually said ""no thank you"" and they still charged for the membership and never stated they were charging $99.
7. I called to complain after Zach provided the invoice and estimates after the work was done and spoke to Jake in the office. I spent over 30 mins going round and round over $18. He said ""were you at the appt""? It was awful. I found them, booked the appt, requested the services and told my boss' wife what the appt would entail. She never signed up for any of the extra estimates or membership. After telling Jake he was actually not helping over an $18 refund and I asked to have the owner call me. He said he wasn't there but would have him call me. After we hung up, Jake then called my boss' wife to ""hear it from the horses mouth"" and got the same info I provided him and yet still didn't agree to give the $18 refund and only stated he would have accounting review.
8. After now spending over an hour disputing this between myself, my boss wife and now calling back Jake to ask him why he was calling my boss and his response was ""to hear from the horses mouth"" I was then super upset and said this was unprofessional and he was getting no where and it was actually my boss' wife's daughter's 18th birthday today and it was not okay to contact her immediately after me.
9. After all this no refund of $18 yet and a total waste of time and over priced and overcharged and led to believe you are getting what you asked for and do not. SCAMMERS! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR USE THEM AGAIN!

*********BEWARE THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU INTO OVERPAYING***** They charge you a dispatch fee $69 for technician to go out and if you choose them to do the work, they will STILL charge you the $69 fee and double-dip on fees. Other companies will apply the service fee towards your balance but they DON'T!!! They scam you by making you thinking their 10% discount will help you save money but I ended up overpaying!!! They charged me $295 for them to wrap up 2 sets of electrical wires into a box from a garage ceiling. On top of that, the technician was 40 minutes late!!!!! WORST ELECTRICAL COMPANY I'VE USED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So here is how much of a scam this company is. Not to mention their shady get to your home bait and switch up charge on diagnostics. But it gets better how about them wanting to charge me $1600 bucks for a job I made one phone call got for $700. Does that paint a good picture?

TLC charged me $69 dispatch fee twice for nothing. On his second visit, its engineer wanted to break the ceiling to conduct some test for $1,000 (excluding the cost of ceiling repair), since he was unable to figure the cause of the problem. I told him to hold on.
I called another electrician next day and he immediately fixed the issue for minimum time and charge.
I complained to TLC and received no comment or explanation from its management.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They bait you for your 69.00 service fee!!!! I had them come out to fix my pool lights!! I had already had an electrician come out to test the power source and they confirmed the power source was in good working order and that I needed a company to come look at the lights instead. I called these jokers and they came out and looked at the POWER SOURCE and did not look at my pool lights turn quoted me an outrageous 2100 price to replace the two lights! I asked why they didn't look at the lights and Joe stated he didn't need to in order to know it's the lights. I feel so ripped off and bamboozled!!! This is a bate company that makes their profit off 69.00 service fees and on an occasional rich fool who would pay the inflated prices they charge!!! BEWARE!!!!!

Nicest technician on the planet but that's the only good thing about my experience. This company are thieves. They charged $292 dollars to trouble shoot a light switch, and that's after giving me a coupon for the service call charge. No parts no replacements, just trouble shooting the switch. They were at my house for an hour. Turned out to be a ceiling fan light problem. Don't let them rob you. Just to be clear, the technician was fantastic.

these people are the biggest rip off's ever. will never use again. charged me $ 650.00 for fitting i saw on line for $ 45.00 and didn't even glue it one so now it is just hanging there.

Waste of money and time! Quote was so high there's no way I'm going to get the work done! $1200 for two small projects. I asked how much just to flip an outlet around and it was $450. I could do this myself in 1/2 hour, but I live in condo and we're supposed to have a ""licensed electrician"". I had a coupon for a waived dispatch fee but 1/2 hour before appointment they called to tell me b/c I didn't book on a Wednesday they would not honor it. I could tell immediately the guy had no intention of doing the work. you're welcome for my $70 and two days of time off of work after TLC cancelled and rescheduled...Awful. I will write yelp and Angie's list review. Thanks for nothing!...good communication w/dispatch and availability, but what good is that with no work done.

I called TLC to get 5 recessed light bulbs to be changed and paid $453.
my husband knowticed 2 light bulbs were not recessed light bulbs. I thought with the amount I pay, the service will be excellent. I called back to say I don't mind paying for the labor but, come and take the light bulb back. The owner of the company says to me after arguing for 5 mins, "" I am not Freaking taking that back. (when a owner of the company starts cursing at the customer, I am done talking) We have 2000 customers and I don't care about what kind of review you give me. This is not a Walmart!""

I called a few mins after 3pm today and by 6pm my issue is fixed! YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!!!! So AC had issues fixed all that to find out the breaker keeps tripping. AC company has their own electricians but could not get to my house till who knows. I had already been 36 hours with out ac THANK YOU GOOGLE for sending me to TLC Electrical. They worked me and were beyond fair on pricing. Our service tech was in and out and had us feeling so much better. He stayed and made sure the ac stayed on and was working. Fair price, quick, and honest man you don't hear that about companies now days!
