Thanks to Danielle S review yesterday I phoned Yolo Repairmaster on a Sunday to fix our AC. TJ came out at the time he said he would and fixed the air conditioner within 30 minutes. No upselling and gave helpful advice on how to improve the longevity of our AC. I have no reservations in recommending Yolo Repairmaster to others, in fact I have already shared our experience with friends.

On a 110 degree Saturday evening, when my house was nearing 90 degrees, I was fortunate enough to make the right call to TJ. He picked up on the first ring and quickly came to the rescue of me and my three pups. I was so impressed with his compassion, his kindness, and his knowledge of A/Cs. I should have written this last year when TJ came out on a Sunday, as I remember, to clear our kitchen drain line. He explained in advance that rates would be higher for the weekend, but we decided we needed the kitchen... He was quick to respond and got it cleared in no time.

Then I woke up this morning and couldn't get the heater to light. After fooling around with it for an hour or so, I called TJ again. When he returned my call, he said he could be here between 3:30 and 5:00. Damn, I thought, we will be frozen through by 5:00.

When he showed up at 3:40, I bit my tongue. He figured out and solved the problem in less than 20 minutes!

What a guy, what service, what knowledge! He makes me thankful to shop local whenever possible. They deserve each 5-star rating they get!!!

I got on touch with TJ about a water heater that wouldn't light. He provided me with a lot of advise and a phone number to get the replacement part for free from the manufacturer. I was really in a rush to get the heater back up and running after 4 days of cold showers, so once the part arrived I immediately went back to TJ to schedule an installation. He was already booked for the day but offered to come the next day. I was quite desperate at this point so I attempted to install it myself, which took some time but worked well in the end. TJ provided some more safety tips over the phone - all without ever seeing a dime. I am very grateful for his generosity and will surely hire him the next time something brakes!

This review is for work TJ Robb did for my parents, who live in Davis. Over a year ago they had an issue with their shower. They called a local plumber who came out but said they would need to break through the wall to fix it. They didn't want to do that since it would have been very hard for them to find replacement tiles and the quote to do the work was very high.

Just last week they had an issue with their toilet. I found TJ Robb through Yelp and saw the good reviews so I gave them his number. He came out and fixed the toilet and the shower. They are beyond happy with the work he did. They said ""he was not only great, he was fantastic."" When I talk to them days later they still bring it up.

They highly recommend him and would use him again.
