Tim Wright and his crew are fantastic and have performed excellent work for us in the past month. We recently purchased a home and had the furnace and duct work, hot water heater, lead water pipes all replaced, and with energy saving items wherever possible such as with a new tank less water heater and duct insulation. Tim also did seismic bracing work for us as he noted some weak spots in the basement area. Tim and his crew worked continuously on our project for two straight weeks completing everything in a very timely and efficient manner including updates to our electrical wiring and panel. On top of that we recently had a sewer leak, and Tim came out on a weekend to inspect and to determine where it came from. He fixed it right away and did a great job. His work is outstanding as well as his team. He's honest and very reasonable, and leaves the work site in a clean condition. We are very happy with his work, will use him for our future projects, and highly recommend Tim Wright.

I first met Tim, a local guy, when another company told me all my retrofit had to pulled out and replaced to the tune of 10 K. Tim came himself, crawled into the space and looked. He explained why it was all perfect for my home. So, when I had problems with another company, I called Tim to redo my electrical panel a d subpanel. His crew were awesome and worked hard, staying past "" work hours"" to get the work done.

PG&E came shut down the power because new tenants forgot to switch into their names. And PG& E made us pull a special permit from the city which only electrician can get. Tim went in the craw space, attic and inside to check all the wiring ( it took him a long time to check everything about 1 day.)

We've been delighted with the electrical and general contracting work Tim Wright performed for our home in Berkeley in the spring of 2010. He came to the job prepared to listen, and he provided advice on how to save money both with his work and with other contractors (painters, landscapers, sewer technicians and roofers) that had separate work to do on the property. Tim remained fair and listened well to our concerns as the work proceeded.

Tim revised unsafe areas in our wiring and breakers, encapsulated old ductwork, repaired broken concrete and woodwork, and extended our backyard deck with repair of rotted areas of the decking. When given the opportunity to take lucrative steps with our work, he found cheaper alternatives that I feel saved us both time and money in the end. He finished all of his work well before other electricians were scheduled to give their estimate (!). His workers were respectful and careful: my wife even took to referring to his main assistant as 'the Gentle Giant.""

As well, Tim's business is local, and he's got extensive knowledge of local contractors and home inspectors (including what they'll flag on inspection) as well as local real estate markets. His advice goes well beyond the job at hand.

We have no doubt we'll be hiring Tim again.
