Tim and his team did a tremendous job on my home repair and restoration. I moved home last year after many years having tenants (they all left more or less happily). There was so much deferred maintenance! Anyone who has tenants knows that they frequently simply don't report problems to you, and it takes a good inspection to discover what's gone awry. Tim and his employees dealt with rat-infested ducting, all sorts of dry rot and damage, and proposed cost effective solutions and improvements. Work was on time, and on budget. In my long experience, getting the first 95% of a job done is pretty ""easy"", but getting a contractor to deal with the last 5% - the details, the finish work, the tiny ""come back for an hour for a loose end"" is by far the most difficult. But with Tim, that wasn't the case. He'd even leave his next job site during his lunch, or on the weekend, to make sure I was taken care of.

I was so happy with his work, I had him do a design and build for what had been a carriage house, turning it into usable living space. Another excellent experience. He improved each and every idea I had. I would have been happy if he had only done exactly what I ""said"", but after a couple of his suggestions I realized: he's gifted and detail oriented. My friends think my carriage house should be featured in a magazine it's so beautiful now.

I had dozens of contractors over the years, Tim is in my top three and I would definitely use him again.

I have called him several times and was told they would call back to schedule an appointment they never did after several attempts. This guy is arrogant.

This is a very unprofessional inconsiderate way to conduct business. I would give NO stars if it were possible.

Don't waste your time they are too cocky and inconsiderate to give a call back it's a sign of how UNRELIABLE they will be in getting the job done!

Quick update: we're in the middle of a remodel and have discovered that we have active knob and tube and that we should have NEVER had insulation blown over the wiring. Tim Wright charged us $350 and provided his certificate that insulation was ok based on this inspection. Two words: FIRE Hazard!!
We are super lucky and have been told repeatedly by our contractor and new electrician.
This is just my experience, but I would advise you to look and think twice before hiring this guy.

My wife and I just moved into our first home and were fortunate to find Tim's business through a neighbor's referral on Nextdoor while looking for someone to do some seismic work. He was very communicative and easy going which was nice since we had a lot of beginner questions and nerves about our home. We are very happy with his work and appreciative for all of the recommendations and knowledge he shared.

Tim knows what he is doing, is happy to explain things, and has extensive experience working on homes in this part of the bay, which gives him a very helpful familiarity with common issues and home configurations in the area (as well as all the weird stuff various/past owners try to do to address these things). He got back to us quickly once he received my message, turned around a timely estimate after seeing the property, and work began very soon after we accepted his bid. The work was fast and minimally intrusive, and we are extremely happy with the results. Will be working with Tim on our future plans for the house, and so glad to have a contractor we know and like.

Tim and his crew were a pleasure to deal with, were polite and respectful, showed up on time, communicated when issues or questions came up, and MOST importantly (to me), I didn't feel at all weird about leaving them alone in our home - trustworthy good guys. There are some sordid, strange, and scary characters in the construction business, but you won't find them in this company; Tim and his crew are intelligent, approachable, and hard-working - what more could you ask for?

I needed work done that was too small of a job for Tim's group. However, Tim still took the time to look over my building inspection and gave me some insight into electrical work and also what type of work would be large enough of a job for his group. I really appreciated him taking the time to look at my report, even though he know he wouldn't be taking the job!

Tim Wright and his crew are fantastic and have performed excellent work for us in the past month. We recently purchased a home and had the furnace and duct work, hot water heater, lead water pipes all replaced, and with energy saving items wherever possible such as with a new tank less water heater and duct insulation. Tim also did seismic bracing work for us as he noted some weak spots in the basement area. Tim and his crew worked continuously on our project for two straight weeks completing everything in a very timely and efficient manner including updates to our electrical wiring and panel. On top of that we recently had a sewer leak, and Tim came out on a weekend to inspect and to determine where it came from. He fixed it right away and did a great job. His work is outstanding as well as his team. He's honest and very reasonable, and leaves the work site in a clean condition. We are very happy with his work, will use him for our future projects, and highly recommend Tim Wright.

I first met Tim, a local guy, when another company told me all my retrofit had to pulled out and replaced to the tune of 10 K. Tim came himself, crawled into the space and looked. He explained why it was all perfect for my home. So, when I had problems with another company, I called Tim to redo my electrical panel a d subpanel. His crew were awesome and worked hard, staying past "" work hours"" to get the work done.
This is the only company I trust!

Tim worked through the most ridiculous PG&E nightmare with humor and grace that couldn't be more appreciated. His work, and that of his team, is thorough and precise. Always professional, honest, knowledgeable, prompt, and just great people. Tim was nothing short of fantastic in coming in and facilitating the completion of a difficult PG&E situation, an existing contractor, and keeping me sane through it all. A genuinely nice person, who is diligent & professional - Tim has us as clients for life!
