Tim did an amazing job cat-proofing my apartment for me! He was extremely attentive, thoughtful and took extra care with the old appliances in my old apartment. His rates are super reasonable, and he was available the next day. (A lot of the other handy-man services were booked up for weeks.)

He's also just a really nice and trustworthy person. I can tell he cares about what he's doing, and he wants the customers to be happy. I definitely won't be going to anyone else for my handyman needs. Thanks, Tim!

I contacted Tim because we desperately needed an AC unit installed in our rental house during the most recent heatwave. We have horizontal sliding windows so it wasn't a simple job and required replacing the glass in the window with plexiglass to fit the unit. He came out the very next day and did a very clean job that looks as good as it gets. All of this was happening when I was 8 months pregnant and overheating so to say he saved the day is an understatement! Would definitely trust him with any other jobs we have in the future.

Tim is a professional who loves his work! And it shows. He repaired and replaced our damaged baseboards pretty quickly. We're really happy with the work he did for us. I've got to tell you - I awoke this morning & took note of the cheery, perfectly balanced adornments in our home which handyman-neighbor TIM DOLAN expertly placed last night, and I am OVERJOYED.

I cannot recommend TIM highly enough. I'd found him through a couple responses he left for another neighbor here on NextDoor, and immediately sensed a responsible vibe and further explored his website: http://www.timdolanhandyman.com/. Tim replied with a brief but detailed consultation about our list of pesky TO-DOs, scheduled a time for 48 hours later, and came prepared with tools and to walk-through the tasks by priority to help us decide how to best begin.

A skilled worker, Tim can entertain a chat while never missing a beat, and in 4 hours, we ended up with some significant interior-changing home improvements we'd likely have spent triple the time doing ourselves (he saved us time and I'd bet a few mood-sucking expletives).

You can feel CONFIDENT reaching out to Tim - he's a very skilled, pleasantly animated and VERY trust-worthy gentleman who can properly manage a variety of home improvements. For reference, ours included installation of plantation blinds on French windows, a couple of curtain rods & accessories, two heavy-duty mirrors, sconce vases, and a 5'x 5' painting in a deep stairwell.

Tim is highly skilled and I'm very happy with the repairs he did to our new condo. He fixed all different kinds of problems including plumbing issues, electrical, screen repair, door sanding, etc, and for a great price. He can do it all. I actually went with him again a week later for a second job that required running a new copper waterline behind the baseboard in the kitchen. Everything was done perfectly. I will definitely look to Tim again for all future repairs.

Tenant called with a couple of leaky toilets and some 10 ft high light bulbs that needed replacing. I found tim on Yelp and I new I had a straight shooter. He quoted me his hourly rate which was quite reasonable. With a little bit of difficult communication between tim and the tenant (tenant was very difficult to get a hold of) tim stayed patient with the tenant and got the information to determine what parts he needed before he went to the job site. He bought the parts before coming to the house so he can just handle what was needed, which I found satisfying. He fixed the toilets and changed the bulbs with led's. Tenant was very happy. Transaction was very smooth and professional. Highly recommend Tim for your repair needs.

Tim is fantastic, I can't recommend him highly enough. He helped me with everything from assembling a grill to mounting a TV to hanging a series of prints, you name it. He did everything with precision and care. He had even prepped for his visit by going through the grill assembly instructions prior to arriving. Tim is an extremely nice guy and a pleasure to be around. He will be my go-to-guy going forward. Five stars all around.
