I can't say enough about Thor Electric. I used a different contractor to install solar on a previous residence and it was a miserable experience so I was prepared for a struggle getting the panels on my new residence installed and running BUT Thor Electric has renewed my faith.

Jeffrey and his team were knowledgeable and professional. Their work was was of the highest quality and fast! I don't have a single complaint only complements for Thor Electric.

This company is supposed to do the repair for solar edge. They installed my solar system 18 months ago two panels have failed. I've been waiting six weeks for someone to come and repair them. The monitoring system also failed. Nobody returns calls very sad I went ahead and went solar. Don't know where to turn

Had solar done. In all fairness the work is fine, but the planning and lack of professionalism was too much to bear.

When it came time to have PGE disconnect the power, and reapply the power after their work was done, they totally dropped the ball. I came home from work at 3:00 and asked them when the power was getting turned on. Neither of the installers had any idea when PGE would be coming back. I knew it was going to be a long night at that moment.

I asked them if they had the guys phone number, any contact information for the PGE technician to get the power back. Again, no one knew. Called their office, nothing got done.

Called PGE and they had no record of permits being
Filed with buildings and renovations, no disconnect or reconnect appointments or information and Thor could not produce any documentation or confirmation numbers to prove they had their ducks in a row. I now have no power all night and it isn't even guaranteed I will have it tomorrow. The most unprofessional thing that could ever happen happened, and his ""15 years and this has never happened"" excuse did not turn my power back on. Unbelievably disappointed. Unless they change their business practices I wouldn't waste my time, it's a risk going with them.

I couldn't speak more highly about the team at Thor Electric. Jeff the owner was very accessible and helped walk me through the solar installation process at my home. Keith his sales rep was very patient and answered all of my questions, no matter how crazy. Keith also matched and beat the best offers I had received from the larger companies and because they are a local direct installer (who often are the sub-contractors for those larger companies) you can eliminate those pesky middle man fees. Jeff offers all of the most competitive warranties on his work and with the manufacturers offering 25 - 30 year warranties as well, you can rest assured that you are protected. I also appreciate that Thor is a local company and I believe in supporting those businesses as much as possible. All said and done I have an up an running 6KW system that looks great and only took about 3 weeks from the minute I signed the contract, it would have been 2 weeks if it weren't for all of those pesky storms.
