Consumate professionals! Mr. Danny Thompson was extremely knowledgeable and competent. He immediately understood my electrical main power switch problem and was able fix it. As this was an emergency type of service, he kept me readily informed as to acquiring the right breaker and went out of his way to install it in a timely manner. He was cordial, Covid-19 complient and courteous. He also took time to trouble shoot and offer positive recommendations regarding other electrical matters. Should you require electrical services at a fair price, Thompson Electric should be your ""Go To"" company. This company definitely rocks and I will hire again in a heartbeat.

I was introduced to Thomson Electric by New Products to work on the electrics for my hot tub (not an easy proposition). Once we connected, it was simple to schedule both the initial evaluation and the work itself. I love that the schedule is managed by Dave, who always picks up the phone! I can't say enough good things about Tommy and his team. They showed up on time, and went out of their way to do the job well. Built in the 50's, our house is an electrical puzzle, but Tommy was more than up to the task.

I just completed a kitchen, family room, living room remodel and have to take a minute to yelp Thompson Electric. Aaron and Tyler did all the electrical on our remodel (which included new kitchen wiring and modifying existing outdoor and living room art lighting), and did exacting work in a professional way. I had Tommy come up to do an estimate to get electrical work done for a hot tub. He was very responsive and came up within a couple days of my request. He even came up a second time to snake some conduits and give me a more realistic estimate. While he was here he noticed a problem with the main power line coming into my house and told me he would put in the paperwork to PG&E and get me an estimate for that work also.

Tommy was not here the day of the work but his guys were fantastic. I had Tyler, and Matt here the entire day working. They consulted with me when needed and worked very hard the entire day. They also took pride in their work and the work they did looked very professional and really flowed with the layout of my home. They also stayed late troubleshooting after PG&E failed to turn back on my gas line after their repair. I couldn't have asked for better service and more professional work.

We hired Thompson electric for a few jobs and they have been great to work with. They did our chandelier installation, electrical box re-wiring and updated some light fixtures. The staff are all very friendly & professional! We will hire them again in the future.

A week ago we had a timer switch for our porch light fail. We attempted to fix it by ourselves, and in the process, blew out the rheostat next to it. We left messages successively with four electrical companies. One (not Thompson) called back right away from a company whose call service was in Oregon, told me their next appointment was five days away and that I needed to pay $49 by credit card to hold the appointment. I took the bait and paid the $49.

That company (again, not Thompson) had a cancellation and came two days earlier. After spending more than an hour looking at the rheostat, timer switch, taking the bulbs out of the wall sconces and who knows what, we got an estimate of $516 (!!!!) to get the rheostat and timer switch working. We did not take the bait that time.

We called Thompson Electric as soon as the other electrician left (Thompson had returned my call after the call service of the other company). Tyler, one of their electricians, had just finished a job early and would come right over. He came over, assessed the situation, went to the hardware store for a part, returned, fixed the two switches, set the timer and was out the door in a little more than an hour for less than half the cost of the other company.

We liked him so well, we called the next day to have more work done. The owner, Tommy, came out that day. They were so reasonable, the two days together turned out to be less than the other company even if we subtracted the credit of $49 we would have gotten had we gone with the other company.

What an honest, straight-forward, capable company Thompson electric is.

I had a great meeting with Miles for a simple project. We scheduled the service and confirmed the appointment too. He was no-show and didn't even call or text to explain. I texted him a few times with no response. It killed my Saturday.
