Gerry and his team are amazing, professional, fast and most importantly...efficient. I had Gerry install recessed lighting in my living room and kitchen and he gave me a great recommendation to invest in LEDs. This was a great recommendation!!! The lighting is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I love how detailed Gerry was and how meticulous he was with measuring out each light so it was balanced and even. I already have set up my next appointment with Gerry. He's amazing and reasonable!!!

Gerry was very professional and was gracious enough to fit us into his schedule when he had an opening last minute. He and his crew were knowledgeable and informed me every step of the way as they worked efficiently. They took the care to vacuum and sweep up afterwards.

We read his reviews and hired him and we are so thankful we did. He was the third electrician we spoke to about what was needed in our garage and we felt the most comfortable with Thistle Electric. Jerry the owner was very knowledgable and kept safety a number one priority. He rewired our garage to provide more outlets and power, brought everything up to code and installed a ceiling fan and two ceiling lights. He and his workers went above and beyond to hide wires, puddy holes where needed, and even cleaned up after themselves with a broom and mop. Wearing booties throughout the job, the workers respected our home and did a fantastic and extremely professional job. His prices are fair and Jerry (Thistle Electric) is the kind of guy and company you want to give business to. Hire this company and you can't wrong!

I didn't get to use him for our job (we haven't hired it out yet) but hope we get to use his company. Unfortunately the price was higher than we expected so haven't been able to do the job yet. We'll see what the future brings though!

I was referred to Thistle Electric by my real estate agent and I was extremely happy with the recommendation. I initially hired Thistle Electric to upgrade my service panel to 200 amps. That job was completed on time and with a level of perfection that I was extremely pleased with. The nice thing about Thistle Electric is that Gerry (owner) takes such a great deal of pride in his craft. He also ensures that his employees share the same level of commitment to their work.

Once the service panel job was done, we moved on to our kitchen remodel. My wife and I designed the kitchen ourselves and so Gerry had to work with our ideas in a format that he was not used to. We did not have formal plans, but rather a series of sketches to go off of. Still, Gerry attacked the rewire of our kitchen with the same level of professionalism and craftsmanship that we had seen with the service panel. Upon inspection, the inspector was very impressed with the electrical work. All this and always on budget and on time.

At the same time of our kitchen remodel, I added a French door into the master bedroom that also required some electrical work. That electrical work was subbed out by the door installer to another licensed electrician. That electrical work was a joke and a danger.

Having the comparison of two electricians just showed how great Gerry and Thistle Electric is. I feel safe with my family in this house because I know that Gerry performed the work to his high standards. I would, and have, referred him out to my friends and would definitely hire Thistle again.

Hired Thistle Electric to install pendant lights and fix many electrical issues done incorrectly by previous owner of our home. Gerry, the owner and his crew were very professional, put plastic coverings to protect our furniture and drop cloths to protect our wood floors. Also neatly patched up the openings they made to run the electrical. We are very happy with the installation of our lights, measured and lined up perfectly to our specifications. Loved the fact that Gerry was on the job and not just a crew. We definitely recommend Thistle Electric and will hire them again when we need more electrical work.

Gerry and his team at Thistle were amazing! They did great work installing my large light fixtures and they made sure it was done properly so I would not have any problems in the future. I really appreciate the care they took while installing my fixtures. He was very reasonably priced and would recommend him to everyone! I just want to say how responsive Gerry was in resolving our fuse box issue. Was without power and found Gerry through Yelp. He was out the next day and fixed the issue immediately. Going to have Gerry do some more work for us.
